Hey Tony, this isn't about replacing belts, but I own a 2003 Vitara, and a couple years ago the LSPV valve started leaking, its next to impossible to find a new one anywhere, and because its a brake part, didn't want to get one from the junkyard. Ended up replacing it with an aftermarket adjustable proportioning valve. Would appreciate you making a video about this, from reading online Suzuki forum posts, this happens quite a lot.

I really enjoyed your video! Glad I watched/I don't remember the Allen in the idler center? Years ago I replaced the compressor/dryer /condenser etc. One of these belts has allmost c allways squeeled a while on start up. You no/shut off the AC or the engine/start back up. Alternator belt is newer. I've forgotten now. They both feel tight enough to me? I don't care for the idler design/they must a know a spring would never do it. What'd u think? New belts again?tighten again? Yeah It's stupid tight!!

Hey man I can not for the life of me get that second belt on even with the tension pully in the loosest position, any tips? Should I put in on the crank ac and power steering first and try to get it under the tension or het it on the crank ac and tension then try to pry it onto the power steering. What's the order of operations here so to speak

Warmer weather or try to pre stretch the belt. Get it caught on the alternator turn use a wrench to rotate the alternator and walk the belt on

I measure all shade tree mechanic fixes in beers, farts and Daddy words. I'd rank this at 4 beers, 2 farts and 18 Daddy words...10 of those for the alternator bolt as I'm swapping it out as well.

And next change the three cam chains and tensioner tutorial! If theres a ticking noise from your V6 engine (some day) if it start and dont went away in seconds your chain tensioner wear out.Not a funny job as a belt change ha ha.

Be sure your not doing my thing/using 20w50. In law /mechanic /told me/ go by the book/10/30 I think? Onlyv160k now on this 02 xl7. Thick oil wouldn't let chain tension er pump up? This was 40k back.
