Taylor Series

We can write the power series representations of some functions using the formula for the sum of a geometric series, but what about other functions that don't line up so easily with that formula? What is the general method for finding a power series representation for a function, and what's really going on to make it possible?

Thanks for the interesting video. However, the need for the factorial, i.e. why each subsequent c_n gets multiplied by the factor of 1x2x3... etc should have been better explained.
