Serral's infestors seem really hard to deal with. You can see Clem is looking for them, scanning around his army, but serral hides them in the sickest of places like behind Clem's army.

@@nooonanoonung6237 I haven't played sc in a while, but I dont understand why terrans dont just use ravens more. It seems to be based on pure laziness, or an overreliance of scans (because it's easy), to not have at least a few ravens in your army at all times, especially lategame.

@@seag1492 Raven is slow, clunky, really hard to control, takes precedent in control group, needs starport + techlab. Terran has gas starvation until 4th base vs need to hit tight bio upgrade timings.

@@nooonanoonung6237 coincidentally, 4th base is about when you begin to see infestors if sufficient pressure has been applied to the zerg. Basically, as soon as the terran starts spamming CC's, they have no excuse not to have a tech lab starport.

The speed mismatch and lack of an auto-attack means adding a Raven to an army also adds a whole new layer of control, and what they're doing already is absolutely insane. However, I wonder if it would be reasonable for pros to use Ravens separately, in a kind of vision squad. If they put a Raven and a Banshee or two on another control group, they could use them to patrol behind the lines for burrowed units and maybe dive occasionally to clear Creep, keeping them away from the fighting and only having to micro them between engagements. It wouldn't completely replace scans, and it would be another thing they'd have to track, but it would make sharking around with Infestors a lot riskier and at least they wouldn't have to worry about pulling Ravens back while dodging Banelings with Marines. However, I'm the furthest thing from a pro at _SC2,_ so that might be even worse (it's basically trading increased APM for additional multitasking), and the new patch might make it a moot discussion, anyway.

Maybe Terrans do need to build raven(s). Yes, it hampers Terran's momentum by needing a starport with a tech lab + a couple -300 investments into a unit solely for detection, but unless the burrowed infestors start playing a role earlier, the game has probably progressed to the point where the Terran has already slowed down and is teching to a ghost ball (unless they're Clem and still doing non stop split pushes). Once corruptors are out to deal with libs as well, then the ravens might becomes a free -300 but then we just need to wait for the next patch to buff raven speed to be greater than corruptors :P Besides, Protoss would argue that a free -300 isn't as bad as a free -600. So not spotting burrowed infestors is just a skill issue. And Serral is a GOAT cause he's Vergil motivated.

Then give it an auto attack with a siege mode (like overseers and observers), buff their speed and lower their spell cast priority as if you select them in your army they take priority over other units abilities like steam/siege and ghosts, they are impossible to play right now.

to get GM you need like around 30 games minimum for the season played so he probably just hasnt laddered as much, and also alot of Pros say they play 3 to 5 games a day and then just analyse themselves so serral is probably just below to game limit

If you dont know what youre talking about I would just not comment. These 2 players are the absolute best at their races. They are the 1% of the 1%. Serral potentially being the greatest player of all time. They both know if they mess up and lose any amount of edge in the start of the game they will just flat out lose the game. They are both so good they will exploit any amount of failure.

Clem is a beast, but Serral has no equal. I just watched a hilarious video from Artosis with him trying to argue the GOAT status of the GOAT with some completely bs logic and mental gymnastics. He is so butthurt that the Koreans are nowhere even close to the GOAT, and he still thinks that it's 2012-2016 and that GSL is relevant at this point...

Whenever I play random and I'm Zerg vs. Terran my morale goes to shits. It's a rly tough and stressful match but I'm shit in comparison to these guys. TvT isn't fun also. Rest is fun, even PvP.
