@@gagethornewell7497 the 2019-2022 version of Dark is wild because he literally does not scout some of his games. Remember the game vs Skillous where Dark build 20 lurkers vs skytoss(dark won). Also he counters BC using ravagers. Serral is like a textbook.

The problem with this textbook Serral is that he was twice the world champions, because he writes his own textbook so he can adjust it. So there are players that studied his textbooks only to realize he has adjusted it then eat their own poison for that. His second world championship is the proof. Serral just play standard style but with details perfected to the bit. For Serral, tricks are for the weak, the Beta.

Great games from MaxPax, especially the 2nd and 6th games were amazing. But the God of StarCraft can not fall, we will have a repeat of 2018 with this ascended form of his.

Been binge watching sc2 but the meta is really meh. I have not seen 1ultralisk or some exciting burrowed ling surprise. Just the cost efficient units and pray you out macro/micro your opponent in less than 15 mins. Invisible units feels useless with the amount of scans this game has. Broodwars seems much more interesting and varying when it comes to builds. Although the games could drag longer, at least every unit gets their time to shine in a certain periods of the game

Dark templar are a good unit vs terran for counter attacks. The idea is that they're looking the other way and therefore not scanning, or they have to build planetaries and multiple turrets on each base which limits their income. Large units like ultras and motherships have always had limited use because this game values agility over strength. Brood War is clunky and uninspired compared to this game. No offence but 1998 was a long time ago, and the ability to move an army across the map without constantly microing it is a bare minimum to be called a good game these days. Cost efficiency and the ability to simultaneously macro, micro, position your units, decide on attack timings, decide when to get tech, these all make a good game.
