Usually not carrying off body, but if I carry a larger firearm like a Staccato 4.4 or FNX45 than I would store it in a pack as a backup. If i carry in a pack I like it to be in the back wall instead of the front where it might "print." I too, would use it as a snack compartment instead. That dog is awesome!!!

I see all these bags with huge main open pocket. It defeats the purpose of thise non stretch outer pockets. Ive owned so many of these bags to sell on ebay for a loss. This boxy design makes everyone look goofy too. I can only see this as a travel bag. Tom bihn is one of the few to do edc daypacks right. I dont main mine anymore but i keep it just in case. Never selling my tom bihn😊

Tom Bihn bags are design wonders! I agree, its not my first option for EDC either!
