When you make it so that new players go to new servers constantly until they're full, your server will only ever bleed players and will never gain players. The door becomes a one-way street. New players need access to older, already active servers.

i think upgrading to eternal gear no matter the stats is better. 500k power is worth more than 5% stun. You're going to deal more damage with higher level gear. Accepting the wrong attribute on a piece of gear doesn't stop you from getting better gear later. Keeping lower-level gear with the correct attribute doesn't help you get the attributes you need on your next item.

My main game is Rise of Kingdoms. It's about 6 years old. They still havent implemented server merges. Migration is a better feature that defers the need to disrupt communities at this magnitude.
