Server Upgrades Coming to New World

In this video I talk about the announcement Amazon Gaming Studios made with regards to the sharding on their servers, and how this is a precursor for a lot of the announcements they have coming up later this week.
I've been itching to play new world for a few weeks now, so I am hopeful that there is some new content to play.

This is another version of WoW phasing tech. Which just reinforces more lobby style game play. I don't think there is anything this game can do to bring back players.

I don't have any hope from June announcement or any announcments anymore. NW players are the test subjects for new LOTR mmorpg, nothing more. There is zero good end game content to make this game as a mass pvp and pve really by solving many problems of the game... There is no long term roadmap too and thy don't bring any new content for years...

So... If they somehow manage to make them work, what they are calling sharts are basically instanced zones... Pretty old solution with a lot of drawbacks for a deeper design and backend problem.

Shards are going to implode for a while before they get them figured out.. watch them completely botch their last shot at the returning audience

ESO patch released with the scribing system. Also, people are not as tanky this patch due to changes from additive to multiplicative for armor. Better off playing ESO lol.

At least these first couple days of the patch have been pretty good. There is a lot of potential with some of the new skills. We’ve already figured out a few broken combos.
