Toxic positivity.. one of ESO’s biggest downfalls never good for a game or for the loyal player base to ignore critical feedback and only cater to casuals. Your right they only like “YES” people on the stream team, I think most of us as content creaters who make vids about this game are actively looking for other games to play it’s sad, great video!

I find it funny and telling that no ESO employees visit on the XBOX platform and ask for input from players. I don't expect that to change.

From my limited programming knowledge the problem should be proc sets which trigger very often. If it is once every 6 seconds that should be ok, at least fron what I understand. But of course this damage heal set will probably trigger like 4 times per second.

"Let the snake oil flow". These big words that were dropped by someone that has nothing to do with the coding and designing are so big that nothing will be able to be moved. MS started lashing their assets and everybody is still running on fire to sell the next "easy to make" crap aka dreams. People thought that MS will make the things better, but it is in the same state as before or even in a worse one. ESO will go COD and even more people will leave that thing rotting. Eff Bethesda, eff ZeniMax, eff MS.

I played the full 10 years and I pretty much quit this year. Not a break- I am just tired of all the promises and hope and never getting the things we need in the game. Its just homogenization of the game and out of touch decisions. Year after year, I get hyped and let down and I'm so tired of the disappointment. One tamriel? Great! Card game no one asked for? Bad. The good decisions are so few and far between these days. I am not holding my breath for these promises. If they do deliver though I'll come back. AND it wont be their official channels I'll be watching to see if there's change.

I've played like 4 years on pc. It's the only game I play. I've seen the quality of plat wear down and the resigning of old content and calling it new. I believe the players wiser than me saying this game is on its way to maintenance mode. It is a bummer. Hopefully they've got a game in the hopper that's awesome
@avelinedressus6477Күн бұрын
I’m mostly into questing, housing and selling on the market board and even I’m worried. According to my guild mates, this is one of the worst market crashes (I suppose you could call it) that they’ve ever seen. So it’s even harder to save up for furnishing and mats. Plus I’ve been kind of drawing out zone quests/main quests because I’m worried that I’ll get bored and stuck once I’ve gone through every story. So even for casual players it’s been rough. 😭

Also, not trying to make it seem like an “us vs them” towards players, but more of pointing out that ESO is slacking on all fronts when it comes to their fans.

ESO switching to seasons just reenforces the idea that this game is heading to maintenance mode around the time of TES6 release. For 1 they only have so much space for large map exspansions which i feel is a reason they have been cutting content for the past 2 years and only having a single zone and now not even that. The changes they speak of are good on paper, making overworld content harder thats good, making more end game zones like craglorn cool, updating the visuals of the base game zones neat and new stories in old zones with continueing old ones as well nice. But as we can all guess ZoS is probably going to fuck it all up and i dont see a reason to come back snd i dont have faith they will actually pull this off. I quit before high isle i was already burning out and getting sick of everything ZoS was fumbling and everything i have seen from youtube or reddit has just been negative from people getting banned because of an AI and the devs still banning and removing anything they dont like on the forums.

I felt like the sudden focus on improving the content within The Crown store back around the time the pandemic started was out of the blue. You might call it a sudden stroke of creative genius, but my initial thoughts was that between the badass new crown store content and the new buy a chapter for the new overpowered mythic sales meta they created, That they probably saw writing on the wall, and decided to start cashing in. Everything since 2020 has felt like there, just milking the dairy cow. For every last drop, they can, and this letter right here feels like we're getting called out to pasture I genuinely am not looking at this from a cynical lens. I've always looked at it more from a business perspective, they've been bleeding a player base. They've been facing lots of backlash. They don't seem to have any clear direction of which way they're going to take the game or improve it, let alone fix player versus player performance. And I believe rather than throwing their head against the wall, for a solution, they decided to cash in. If it's true, they have another game, they're working on the past couple years could have literally just been them siphoning money out of the elder scrolls online player base to fund the new one
@EryssLEGOКүн бұрын
The performance is better during Midyear Mayhem because fights don't last as long due to there being a lot of noobs who die faster or are not as good at defending objectives. It is not related to the hardware. source: talked to devs about this in person

0:26 gonna suck when ESO is just fine and running well 6 months from now and your missing out on what ever boons content creators get. I really think the sharp reaction on a game that is a long term game, with the ups and downs from the start is futile when I’ve seen it get bad real bad by content creators complaining standards don’t get me wrong I complain too but I’ve come to a realization I hope you guys do as well. All of these games are the same, WOW all of em it’s the same meta program across the board. I play several of these MMOs and every community literally has the same exact complaints literally the same. I can easily find every type of video scaling from this patch or that expansion changed the game fore ever and this is the new era. I can show you a video on the same patch saying how it destroyed the game it’s dead and gone. Then next week they are all still playing the game and now those content creators opinions have swapped. This becomes nothing more than what the legacy media does lol. All I’m tryna say is switch it up bud take a break it’s not that bad your burnt out play another game but no reason to say the game or any game is dead and gone when it clearly is not, ESO alone has like 7 layers of dedication to it you choose to enable yourself including the subscription. You can literally dial your time back on eso and treat it like a model grand theft auto and still love it. I do that all the time. 😂 chill Brothah. If you go to WOW be warned same issues lol. I’ve been out there searching it’s all the same.❤

On point in all ways, you pinpointed so much that i came up with throughout the years of playing, trying to figure out how this game was losing its stability in performance. All these calculations, all these synchronisations, they are too much to bear for a game, especially one with that age. The amount of times ive sent feedback, out of love, out of concern, out of support and nothing ever came out of it. I caught actual hackers doing the wackiest stuff just to see them getting a not even a ban, thats the moment when i started to understand the hackers (and i am not supporting any of it), but it tells a big story of management into the devs core essentials of the game. Its like a themepark, where you have to throw 2 dollars into a donkeys butt to get 1 ride of the rollercoaster, just to find out there is even more but you'd have to spent even more. Worst part is, it isnt about spending money, its about spending trust and a pack full of respect. Ive quit this year too and it felt so great. And since im basicly only an Elder Scrolls fanatic, it speaks books. Great video. It was too the point, honest and even tho loaded with criticisme, it was the healthy part of criticisme. Since there is no other way to take it into account without lying to yourself for the sake of hope and love. Have a good years end. Cheers!
