I definitely think that you are a survivor...I can't imagine why people do or say what they want to anyone. Those people. are very disrespectful. Have they no manners?? How would they liked to be treated that way. If the shoe was on the other foot. I understand what you are going through. I suffer from Epilepsy. I have mostly have had sezisures in front of family and some friends...I don't tell everyone that I have epilepsy because people treat me different. The point that I am trying to make everyone is the same no matter what their circumstances are. And should be treated with respect and dignity.. Nancy Moule

Hi thanks for taking me along on your adventure. I had an opportunity to be of help to another human being today. A young lady ran up to my motorhome and was crying and screaming and she was bleeding And she was begging me to take her home. But she didn't know where she lived. I brought her inside my motorhome and held her and calmed her down and then I took her to the nearest hospital and it turns out that she was just raped before she came up to my window. I was so grateful that I could offer myself to her and help her in any way possible. Thank you so much for bringing out the importance of not focusing on ourselves all the time but being kind to others and thinking of others and what they might need and see if we can provide that for them. also I was wondering where you live what state you live in. I live in California and I have a service dog and I was told he could never be off leash. So I think it's great watching Colt working off leash with you. You guys make an awesome team. Thank you for the tour of Bass Pro Shop I haven't been to one in years.

kavita deva wow your comment lifts and breaks my heart too! How awful but how awesome you could be there for her! God bless you! You did a great thing helping her! I live in CO and there is a state leash law but it doesn’t trump what ADA states, if the leash interfere with the dogs tasks and or the handlers disability the dog can be specifically trained to be controlled in other ways, voice commands is a example given. I have right side numbness and weakness, I can use my right side ok most days but have no real strength in it and no feeling, I wouldn’t be able to pull on the leash if it even ever came down to it, it hinders his tasks of retrieving medications and or help in a emergency if he was tied to me and I could also get hurt or chocked during a seizure. I used a leash before my latest brain injury when everything got worse, hope this helps answer your question. It’s rare to have a service dog off leash but it is allowed for people who qualify for it, I have a separate doctors note explaining my inability to control a dog on a leash, but the dog is specifically trained to be off leash.

@@janaye7iverson thank you so much for replying to my comment. I totally get it regarding off leash for Colt. Makes perfect sense of course. I'm sorry that you have to deal with so many disabilities. I know what that can be like from my having disabilities. I know they're not the same however it can be real hard sometimes for me and I'm really grateful that I have my service dog. I am so impressed with how Colt takes care of you. God bless you. again thank you for being kind and responding. I look forward to more of your videos so I can comment again. Have a great day.

I have a service dog. I help my friend out who is in the hospital because of spinal cancer and I help her out by visiting her and getting her all of the love that I can give her and getting her food and drinks when she needs it and just be there to support her and talk to her.

Hi quick question, is there a credited association or a way of obtaining and training a dog to care for someone who suffers from seizures. I have a friend who suffers from seizures and having someone like Colt in his life would be so beneficial to his health and safety. Thank you for your help. God bless and I hope you have a great day!

Brenda Galvan that’s such a sweet thought. I would start by fundraising because a service dog can be anywhere from 10K to 50K depending on how much is needed for the dog to do, the training also takes many years. There are many organizations that trained dogs as service dogs but you’ll have to get your friend on the wait list and start fundraising. ❤️ hope this helps!

How do you keep people from stepping on him in the movie theater? I have a question, but if it’s too personal, you don’t have to answer. Do you have full custody of your son? Or just visits? I’ve noticed that he’s been in more videos lately, but not all.
@janaye7iverson

Heather Lyons-Trautwein it’s not too hard since he is a 85lb dog and hard to miss but in dark places we make sure he is visible enough not to get stepped on and we are very vigilant, he is never normally in the way to get stepped on however cause he is trained to be very tucked away. Kayden is my step son but I consider him mine since I can’t have kids. So of course he gets time with both his mom and his dad. I cant watch him by myself because of my health and Garrett works a lot as soul provider for our family. Also he wasn’t in the Vlogs much as a personal choice when he was younger to protect him but he wants to be now and we decided he can be.
