Was that dramatic music meant to make that seizure look real? This was clearly a training session. I am just wondering why put his head under your head when he can get hurt? As someone with gran-mal seizures i know how forceful the shakes and head bangs can be.

My pit does something similar for me but he was never trained. And he bails as soon as I lose consciousness. Was yours trained for this? How/ where?

It’s been a few years. Is Colt still with you? What state is this? It’s gorgeous!! We’re looking at moving to WA (Olympic peninsula) from FL bc the heat is so difficult for me and my daughter (we both have EDS and brain cysts) so I’m curious about others who have made the move away from the heat.

My dog doesn’t alert me but I get an aura and lay down. During the aura, he comforts me, laying on me, and little licking on my face. He is not trained to do that. As soon as the seizure kicks off he is weirded out and bails. It’s interesting how connected dogs are with us. Sweet colt is a great dog! Such an awesome dog I’m very impressed. My dogs were doing the same ththing they where telling me as though i was going to have some sort of seizure they sure have brains when i dozed of he barked to alert me then when i made tea it sounded to cout the amout i was to drink i was cold the other came sat on my knees😮😊❤

I have two questions for you… I’m not sure if you can answer the first one… 1. How did the staff not notice? They know you’re a seizure risk right? Didn’t your o2 sat drop? 2. If you stop breathing at home from your seizures, how do you manage that? Do you have a BVM? Bag valve mask where someone can help oxygenate you?

I love ramans also. I stir fry veggies, put egg in it . This makes a stir fry. I love it this way sometime. Oriental. But I mostly love them just with their packet of spices and butter.

At 14 yrs old my parents were told I won't walk, talk or comprehend well ever again. Now I am 42, have three beautiful kids, a husband in heaven watching me try to handle the teen girls and a preteen without him (he was the nice parent, I am the mean one😂) while having epilepsy. I just had another stroke after a brain bleeding from a bad seizure that hit my head on tile flooring. I am looking for a dog trainer for my collie, he stayed on my chest until EMS got to me, without training, he's a natural. God still performs miracles!!! ❤

So do you have silent seizures? My son has LKS and his seizures are silent we never know when he’s having one and it affects him. I want to get him a service dog but I don’t know if it’ll benefit him.

How do they know you're about to have a seasure?

Um why would a service dog go over another SD and under them? SDs don’t jump over things they can switch sides to get past something or be put in a sit or down stay. And why do you up a dog under another ( possibly aggressive) dog? If you are training your SD to go under things use a chair or table and guide them under the table.

I have epilepsy and it’s annoying and scary

My 4 year old baby brother saved my life from this horrible situation in. 2020. And had a seizure and this Sunday morning I had one the hospital we go to is 2 hours away and luckily we was already there and there they said we need a service pet which we did not thank about before

I love laser tag, but I wouldn’t be able to take Baron. Walking with crutches and handling him and the gun just wouldn’t work with only two hands.😂 Plus, I think Baron would be confused thinking it was playtime and not work time, I usually make it clear. If I was clearly playing a game he would want to play too, its just all too much, lol!😂

An angry employee in Target told me “Your dog pooped on the floor and you need to clean it up!” I was shocked, I knew I would’ve seen it, so I asked where it happened. He showed me an area we hadn’t gone to yet, and I told him so. He insisted, and I looked at the tiniest poo I’ve ever seen. I pointed at my Rottweiler and said “From HIM?”😂 He said yes. 😂 A manager came over and said she found the fake dog and kicked it out, and realized we were being accused. “Do you think THAT came out HIM?!”😂😂😂 She apologized and said she would train her worker better. 😂

I need a dog like this. I have absence seizures, and pretty much nobody sees them or knows exactly when i have them. This would help a lot.

Yesterday my dog is in training. I stop at sams club and my dog got scared because there was a man with a who had a mask on ,sunglasses and a hoodie bringing in carts behind her . She was unsure and It took her a few mins to get her to understand she was ok . Two days ago we went to the pet store and as we are training there was a little dog coming at my dog . The lady had her on a long leash and was not paying attention. I corrected my dog and had her backing up and laying down. After the store worker let the other lady know about her dog . She was corrected and we went on about our day . Also there are laws against discrimination but there are no laws about service animals not being able to go into any store or public place . Anxiety, emotional support, ptsd ect… they not required to show any training or verification . It can take up to two years of on going basic training, advanced training and task training. You can pay for services for special training but NO paperwork is ever required or needs to be shown . Yes I have looked all this up and yes I work with a training instructor for me dog .
