The only thing is, there are reasons why no one allows pets. Because service dogs can range between $15,000 to $20,000 depending on the amount of tasks and alerts it does. They are pets their medical equipment. So if a pet attacks a service dog. The owner will be fined and can be sued by the disabled person and the company. The dog might sadly be euthanized if it bites the dog or the disabled person. None of us disabled people wished to become dependent on a service dog. It’s like people bound to wheelchairs or walkers or oxygen tanks. They don’t wish to use them. So don’t abuse the right because service dogs are literal lifesavers. They help people with major psychiatric disabilities, autism, cardiac, epilepsy, deaf, blind, mobility, and diabetic patients. It’s easier to hire a pet sitter or stay home and if you have an ESA. Boohoo, keep them home. They are just pets. Leave the public access to legitimate service teams because we need them for our life.

luis duenas The ADA has specific laws protecting people with disabilities. It's basically an honor system with service animals.

There is no such thing as a license or registration and you can't ask for any paperwork so if someone has a dog that is not acting like a trained service dog and they flash a registration or id nine times out of ten they are fake

My experience with service dogs has been mostly riding the bus in the City. The disability is that the owner is homeless and spends most of the day on the bus. And the specific task the dog is trained to do is crap on the bus floor where I get to step in it. I have very poor eyesight, so I do not see it but I certainly smell it, all over my shoes. I hate homeless people and I hate their dogs.

The city of Nebraska has always been accommodating to differently-abled people that have service dogs. 22% of Americans with disabilities are from Nebraska. Here you can get more information click here - www.howtocrazy.com/the-laws-on-service-dogs-in-nebraska/

The lady has a point have more places that are pet friendly and this wouldn’t happen.

That is technically not right to be honest. Service animals are extremely expensive and if they are attacked. Pet owners in a public place can be sued and fined for it if their pet attacks. Also if the dog bites the owner or the service dog, the dog will be put down because they can be considered dangerous to everyone. It’s best to just keep them home. I have a service dog in training who used to have severe separation anxiety. They howl and whine for about 10 mins and then just do what dogs do. They don’t care like we do. They like being alone more than we think. If you worry that much. Get a pet sitter or stay home. Because they could care less where we are. As long as we come home. They would be happy.

There would be more pet-friendly places if people'd just train their goddamn pets.

Places don't have to be pet friendly. U don't need to have ur untrained pet everywhere u go. Service dogs r a necessity. That is why they r the only ones with protected public access rights. People need to obey the laws.
