Servicing And Replacing The Pump On A Honda GX270 Pressure Washer

Do NOT buy this AAA Triplex pump. Mine lasted 4 hours before water was in the oil. It was sent in for warranty and the shop took 9 months to "repair it" and destroyed my pressure washer in this time. When I got the pump back it immediately leaked oil with less then .5 hours on the rebuilt pump. Simpson refused to replace the pump after all this. I will never be buying anything from them again.

AAA pumps are junk! I’ll take a budget Vevor or Canpump any day over a AAA.

On ALL Honda engines, you must screw the dipstick all the way in for an accurate reading.

That pump is trash 😭😭😭 mine gave out so quick. You were better off with a 50 dollar one from Amazon.

Yeah it's very unfortunate. I had a terrible experience with mine as well. Got 4 hours on it before I had water in the oil. Simpson had me send it to a shop for warranty. Hey man, just curious about your upgrade , I was wondering if these cat pumps and all can be put on any pressure washer. I have a 270cc like this rated for 3.5 gpm 4k psi pump and was looking for a upgrade

You'll have to look up the output shaft of the motor and ensure that it will work with the pump you want. When I bought the AAA pump it was recommended to be used with the GX270 engine.

I have one. Didn't even think about using it on this. Would have saved me the mess for sure!
