Square Drive Decking Screws fit perfectly over the set screw on the tappets. Just screw one into a thin piece of ply that's been cut like a flower petal. Then grind off the the excess and glue. 👍 Sub'd.

Very great advice!! Using enviromental friendly tool for checking the top position. Funny for me because a month ago i stucked my screwdriver inside my CG 110 combustion chamber. Then i had to reassembly the piston block of the engine and clean them up. Hhaha. Greetings from Yogyakarta Indonesia.

I would like to see something about the speedometer cable
@TwistgripTales Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Rafael. What is your particular query regarding the cable? Or the drive unit on the wheel Or how the speedo itself uses the cable to move the needle? Some good ideas there Cheers Bruce

@TwistgripTales3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Eric There are turbo chargers for bikes Eric. Very very few bikes have them as standard factory fit. Mainly used in drag racing. Tray tuned we’ll do a feature on them into the future

Great video! Thank you so much 🙏.. Quick question though. Is it essential to use an offset feeler gauge? Or would a straight one work just as well?
@TwistgripTales2 жыл бұрын
There is plenty of room for either type of gauge on the ST250 So what ever you have or is comfortable Enjoy your ST250 Merry Christmas Cheers Bruce

It’s never easy Tinkerin’ the point is to educate as to what the relationship is and between what and what. So many new riders don’t know what is inside. What does what and why. How are they connected. More videos to come. Thanks for watching Cheers Bruce

Why does your feeler gauge look much thicker than my 0.04mm one? 😂 My 0.04 Kingchrome gauge is microscopic

I don’t know Wayne. My feeler gauge is in inches 3 & 4 thou of an inch used. Not much clearance but just enough. Merry Christmas Cheers Bruce

Ain't that 'auto'-sidestand a bitch 😁 Yeh l was always told when adjusting valve clearances to always air towards loose - Better a harmless slight hint of tap than a burnt out valve. BTW Where are the timing marks on tjat bike to set TDC
@TwistgripTales2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Mark Yes those timing marks are so hard to see. It is pretty easy to convert that suicide side stand into a nice tame one. Thanks for your input. Merry Christmas cheers Bruce
