So I decided to return to Lovelace Farm for another 24hr session and try to improve on my previous run.

Nice vblog mate, can I ask what rods you was using ? Cheers Andy

andy glad you enjoyed the video, in my first few videos I am using my dads custom rods - 12ft - 2.75/3lb tc I believe but not branded so can’t give make or model. They are around 30yrs old and still going strong but for sentimental reasons I tend not to use them now. I have recently moved onto Nash Scope rods, as I prefer dealing with minimal kit

@@StevieDCarpAngler nice, not been down Lovelace for years. When I used to go it was so quiet down there, I could be the only one on the bank and that was weekends Sure it's changed now

andy it’s a lovely little lake must have some 30’s in there now. I haven’t been myself for around a year but I haven’t been fishing a lot in general because of work. I believe Gareth is in the process of obtaining planning permission for a second lake which I think he will then make one of the lakes a syndicate/members lake.

Well done on your fish but rolling it onto it belly isn't a good move it can damage the fish internally not mocking you just advising you if your unaware

hi mate can i ask what size hook do you use and type of hook for a Ronnie rig with a 12mm bait. Not gone that small yet for a ronnie rig but i do use a 16mm popup on a size 4 hook on a ronnie rig
@StevieDCarpAngler5 жыл бұрын
Fisherman and Biker I would tend to use a curve shank hook probably need a size 8 for a 12mm then 15/16mm upwards use 6’s and 4’s all depends on your baits buoyancy as well, always check in clear water at home first to make sure your fishing as effectively as you can.

Fisherman and Biker I’m really glad your enjoying the vids, I’m annoyed at myself that I haven’t fished much these last 8/9 months. It’s been nearly 4 months since I was on the bank at all. But work and family commitments have kept me so busy. But sure enough as soon as I’m back out and banking Carp I will be editing some more content. Let me know how you get on with your session!

@@StevieDCarpAngler I understand stevie life gets like that sometimes mate. I only just got back in to carp fishing since March this year afher a 5 year break. However I was doing sea fishing for the past 6 years previous straight which was a change from carp fishing as it's just late evening night session for a few hours which is good if you don't have a lot of time on your hands with life commitments. I was carp fishing before sea fishing for at least 5/6 years straight before giving it up for sea fishing but now back to carp fishing again 😊
