Session 2: MIDI to CV and Sequencer basics - Modular from the Groud up (with VCV Rack)

In session 2 I talk about how to actually produce musical meaningful sounds with the knowledge we have about the VCO. Therefore I show two common methods of how to produce pitched tones: MIDI to CV and a Step Sequencer (also with a Quantizer).

Where is your module midi to cv, I don't understand ?

That is the left module. It converts midi coming in from a keyboard or whatever to the virtual CV in VCV rack. The same would be true in hardware. You would use module like Hexinverter Mutant Braun to convert Midi signals to CV / Gate / Trigger
