If You Leave Me Now -- Aicelle Santos

Ever since we've worked on some songs for her album several years ago, Aicelle and I have always planned on working together again. I invited her over at the studio to jam, and this... well, happened. :-)
We tried our best to make it as raw as possible. We even didn't bother to retake a track where a cellphone rang. You'll hear it if you listen very closely. :-p

She sings with class. That sets her apart from her contemporaries. She's been gifted with a great voice. But what's really amazing is how she uses that to deliver top-notch performances. She has a refined and very thoughtful singing technique. So her performances come off elegant and classy. The runs and inflections are not overdone, but carefully laid in just the right spots. And she pronounces the words exactly as they should be sang, not munch them up into meaningless mumblings.
