She was the first reactor I ever subscribed to. She was on season 1 of Doctor Nu Who and I have watched her ever since. Some of her Who reactions are my favorite ones and just now, when Vision asked Wanda "what is love....." , her reaction is awesome. I could see her processing it, then the tears flowed.

I see other facets and layers to this genius writing such as, Wanda and Vision are part of our archetypal future, it was initially presented to us via the past, as we are now merging with the Age of Aquarius, and vision personifies Uranus and Aquarius, and Wanda our feminine Age of Pisces past, this last age was all delusion deception, silver screen projection, actor based reality all in an attempt to keep out true potential hidden. Slowly the collective is being woken, woken to face the trauma woken to let the shared fantasy we created go. I truly hope Marvel give us a glimmer of hope in the last episode.

Because we now have 2 new Visions for the future both personifying the spectrum of uranus and Aquarius, one is the so called positives about our Aquarian future, the other is everything we dont want.

Probably the best part about these shows is that they're going to be able to dig into and flesh out characters who, because of how crowded the movies are, just don't have enough screen time. Vision has always been one of my favorite characters in the comics; the noble, kindhearted android fascinated with humanity and a deep longing to connect and belong. Marvel and Paul Bettany have done such a wonderful job translating him to the screen. As heartbreaking as it is, it's beautiful to watch him and Wanda interact.

I feel the same way, but with Wanda! We can't really blame Marvel for not diving deeper in these characters earlier since they didnt have solo movies and Avengers movies always had way too many people to focus on just two. WandaVision is way more than I expected it would be and I'm so glad Marvel is using this new D+ show option well

The deed with the “to grow old in” was the part that totally broke my heart in this episode. It was a reminder of the life Wanda could have had, if everything hadn’t gone wrong. If the aftermath of the civil war hadn’t kept her and Vision apart, stuck on opposing sites (kinda like a Romeo and Juliet situation, two lovers forced to meet in secret because their “families” don’t approve of the other. And we all know how tragically that story ends), if Thanos hadn’t been a major threat to earth and to Vision in particular (in his hunt for the infinity stones), if he hadn’t killed Vision and then snapped Wanda, along with half of all life in the universe. This is the life that Wanda is now trying to create inside the hex, but she knows that it ultimately isn’t real, and that it likely won’t last.

White Vision here is Operation: Cataract as referenced earlier in the show. It does come from the comic books when Vision was destroyed by the bad guys, and when they rebuilt him he was just an emotionless android. He eventually reverted back to his original self through convoluted and whacky ways they can only get away with in comics. Fun fact: the creators of Vision originally wanted him to be white, but printing technology back in the 1960s would have made it difficult for him to stand out on the comic book page.

It seems old TV sitcoms were Wanda's escape, her happy place, when things were too hard to deal with. After losing everyone she ever loved, when it was just too much to bear anymore, Wanda, in her grief, used her powers to create her happy place, then retreated inside it. She only wants to not hurt anymore. Hers is a truly heartbreaking, tragic story. When she fell to her knees & broke down, unable to take any more, I openly wept for her. Elizabeth Olsen's acting in this is phenomenal. So are the acting of Paul Bettany & Kathryn Hahn. That line of Vision's, "What is grief, if not love, persevering?", was heartbreakingly beautiful. Loved your reaction. So sweet, so genuine. Thanks.

Yeah, a line from a TV show, based on a superhero movie, based on a comic book series, is surprisingly profound and hits home so much as everyone experiences grief in so many ways but it boils down to 'What is grief, if not love persevering'. It's also crazy how we can become so emotionally invested in characters, but that comes down to the talent of Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany.

Best episode so far. Very emotional. Sesska, I can't wait for your S3 reaction for The Boys. I'm glad you and Imon Snow cover it. It's the best show post-Game of Thrones. I love the cast.

I completely agree with you bout Elizabeth Olsen. If she doesn't win an Emmy for best actress for this performance, they need to get rid of the award.

Sesska, potential spoilers, gonna explain my understanding of white vision from the comics so feel free to ignore this. The white version of vision is just an AI without the human emotions of regular vision. So technically we now have a physical form that wandas vision could potentially merge with so he can exist outside the hex.

Good summary given all the differences between the MCU and the Comics history. The only extra clarification I might add is that he wasn't an "Evil Vision" as mentioned in the video, he was still a hero, but... just not emotionally there. (Of course, who knows what they'll do here with him under Hayword's control...)

I'm doing a rewatch of all the episodes leading up to Friday and watching the first two knowing what we know now, it hurts. The heart on the calendar...I thought it was love of Marvel because it's on the 23rd and there are 23 movies but watching now? I had to pause. But this episode broke me so much. I cried like crazy. Love your reactions

Thank you for reacting to this. It's interesting how it's showed about the esperiment Hydra do on Wanda. I love how Vision understand her, even if he is an Artificial Intelligence ❤ When she saw Vision's body at S.W.O.R.D and the "property deed" scene it's so sad

I don't know why I took so long to subscribe, considering I've been watching since The Boys season 1, and while seeing this episode breaks my heart, we have to remember to applaud everyone at the studio, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and any other people involved. They created a story that can have us laughing at one point, and sobbing uncontrollably at another. You are definitely my favorite upcoming reactor, with how emotional and into the show you get.

More like we get a peak at it. In the comics she's old enough to remember when Atlantis wasn't underwater.

Fairly newly subscribed to the channel- brilliant by the way. It’s great to see that a superhero show can illicit the amount of emotion I’m seeing in a large number of places. The show has been excellent.

The secret Vilain of the show is Chthon ! -he wrote the darkhold -he is the first master of dark magic (Agatha's power?) -he is the Chaos magic himself (Wanda's power -The first vampires were created using Chthon's power (quot of Billie effraid by Fietro) plus Blade serie -In medieval times "..they bound him to a single location on Earth, Mount Wundagore in what would become the Eastern European nation of Transia (SOKOVI) -"..Before he left this world, however, Chthon reached out and touched an infant girl being born on Wundagore that night, marking her as a potential vessel for the future. That girl would be called Wanda.." -He possessed Pietro too in the comic ! Fietro.. -the one who use the Darkhold can be manipulate by Chthon (here Agatha) I'm convinced that Chthon is one the big Vilain of this new MCU era

White Vision is a version of Vision from the comics. Just like in the show, he got destroyed and was then rebuilt. Wanda was already married to him and had the twins at this point. When he was rebuilt, Wonderman refused to allow a second scan of his brainwaves patterns to restore Vision's personality- Wonderman's brainwave patterns were used as scaffolding for Vision when he was first created. Without the full restoration he was not only blank in color but emotionally as well. It put an obvious strain on his and Wanda's marriage being able to remember the memory of a feeling but not being able to connect to that feeling anymore. In some ways this reflected a soldier recovering from a fatal injury coming home to his wife- all healed up physically but left emotionally hollow from the trauma on the inside.

More on The Vision topic. Paul may have trolled the fans on who the big cameo was. It could be him fighting himself.

Glad you had a safe trip. Oh and sleep deprivation requires you to restore over the same amount of time you went without sleep. So it is normal to have that feeling but you should feel right as rain in the morning! Thanks again for the reaction!

In the comics, the first thing White Vision does is go to Wanda and his kids and tell them he doesn’t love them. Basically in the comics, they tried to resurrect and repair vision, however when he came back he was incapable of having and emotions.
