I would rather go forward and upgrade 6K Pro, like eye tracking with autofocus which is now a lot faster... Gyro? You need to compute the files anyway and it takes time. I'd rather use a gimbal. There is regular crop there when stabilised.
@AltCine2 жыл бұрын
I hear that but if they add eye tracking AF that would raise the cost of the camera considerably. BM is your average consumer cam but it's use is like what you would expect from high end cinema cams in that any serious production would have a dedicated focus puller. Also a lot of DP use flycam, vests, handheld etc so this is perfect for them. We shouldn't think of this market on a personal need but rather a collective.

@@AltCine I use IFocus from Moza Air 2S and focus assistant but when composing a shot I would prefer not to take care of focusing too much. A genius move would have been to update a camera that has had no updates - The BMPCC4k! (The Studio 4k was NOT an update). I already said it on another channel, but I think that blackmagic want to abandon 6kpro, because it is really strange. Early for 500$ you could get many features in 6kpro version, but now you need to pay 500$ more only for monitor brightness and internal nds. I think that 6kpro was a test drive for a new features. Not many user did upgrade from 4k to 6kpro or from 6k to 6kpro. They tested features with 6kpro, move it to 6k body and that is it. So I think that blackmagic will abandon pro version or makes it really pro with 6k pro g2 by adding, for example, sdi, or even change the form factor again.
