Sir what will be direction of trajectory in Q-2

Sir, Excellent vdo. One querry. In Q8, Option( c) is similar to option ( a). Then why (c) is NOT the correct option. What is wrong in option C?
@physicshub5 жыл бұрын
Nice observation. Well, in option (C) the phase space trajectories are looking like perfect ellipses which is the case when the given potential is kx^2 type. But in this case there is an extra term in the potential of type kx^4. So this should not give perfect ellipses. Hope this will clarify your doubt.

In qus 9 how u assume q please tell
@physicshub6 жыл бұрын
look at the integrand.The q is chosen looking at it so that we can carry out the integration.This type of integration we have done in higher secondary mathematics.Got it now?

No..

Take a class 12 mathematics book and look at the chapter where there are integrations involving trigonometric functions.Solve some of them and you will be able to understand it.Here it is purely mathematical integration.

I didn't assume it to be ellipse. It will not be a perfect ellipse but it has a shape similar to that. Here the shape is not bothering us. We are just integrating with the data given in the question. Hope this will answer your query.
