I learn so much from Pastor Rick's sermon today. And that is the difference between will power and God's/or Spirit power. Now that I am able to recognise the difference in the two I am able to discern why now I have the new ability to shed away old lusts, compulsions and urges that were prevalent in me. These bad emotions are still present but I no longer have the desire to fulfill them. Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ for His saving Grace.

How do you get up from living most of your life thru destructive behavior and weak low self esteem belief system and after God setting me free my belief system didnt not just lead me back but worse and when I think of all those 3 things that come against me I just melt in a puddle ofthimgs hopelessness and im confessing I feel some hurt and which Makes me feel more of a evil person and parts of me doesnt want to let go of the compulsion and coping behavior and because the thought of the battle against me which mostly is me i feel hopeless. Please create in me a new heart and new desires and get rid of this wayward and rebelious suicidal spirit because i fear God and it litterly makes me shake .

I understand where u are coming from for I've been there. I've learnt from my own experience and desperation as I CRIED OUT to the Lord for help. I was addicted, lonely and had literally entangled myself in self-Condemnation from childhood trauma. I know that I found my identity from my circumstances and prided myself from these experiences with twisted theories. Imprisonment which cost me 5 separate jail terms of a total of 12 and a half years did not set me free from using drugs to fill the empty void within.. soon after, I realised tt the drugs had also not satisfied me & it got so bad tt even as a Christian, I NEVER HAD ESTABLISHED a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. When I started to seek him by listening to random sermons, I started to realise that the sermon which was the first to appear, related to my situation to a T. from there, I was just riveted and I put faith tt every sermon tt was the first to appear would have a message tt would guide me thru. It took a year of figuring things out. There were times I stumbled and just felt like a complete fake or tt God was denying me my deliverance. The Funny part was how I realised Tt I actually had somehow identified tt I wanted to QUIT! Since then, I have tried to renounce it all, failed, threw away the bongs in the name of Jesus, yet the next few days, the urge still nagged at me and I caved. I prayed in tongues. There were some changes like, my desire to have deeper revelation of Christ and how to get rid of the urge for drugs. (I BELIEVED in CARNAL PROVISION more than God. And I had wrong tots seeking for blessings than the BLESSER HIMSELF. So the hunger for Christ which grew so voraciously was truly the HOLY SPIRIT PUTTING TT SEED IN ME) I have understood that the Lord is and will always be eager for a relationship with us. For you to post this comment has shown tt u HAVE already identified the issues u have and that's the first step. There is no instant recipe for Healing or deliverance but to know that as a CHRISTIAN, your IDENTITY in Christ is the TRUTH THAT WILL SET YOU FREE. U are a spirit being. The soul realm is where ur decisions and emotions have driven a stake of twisted belief systems that has manifested such qualities of bondage. The flesh is naturally inclined to react to the things of the world and what we feel.. Condemnation sets in so easily but that's where u have to understand tt CONDEMNATION, SHAME, FEAR, REGRET, CONFUSION AND ALL THOSE DESTRUCTIVE THINGS AREN'T OF CHRIST. GOD IS TRULY FAITHFUL AND HE WILL NEVER HOLD U BACK FROM YOUR PURPOSE HE HAS CALLED U TO. IVE BEEN THRU IT AND I KNOW, THE ANSWER IS TRULY ABT YOUR FAITH &TRUST IN HIS TIMING & HIS LOVE. You may not seem to FEEL HIS PRESENCE, But our feelings are so crazy deceptive but tts not the TRUE YOU. WHEN U ARE IN CHRIST, U ARE A NEW CREATION. CHRIST IS IN U, so never acknowledge these lying traits you have listed down. In fact, it's the experiences u faced which have made it's way into the beliefs tt society has deemed natural. DON'T OWN THEM. When I had my drug issues... I keto asking God WHY HE WOULDN'T HELP ME REMOVE THEM ..I REALLY DIDNT EVEN WANT TO STRUGGLE WITH THE URGE BCZ AS HIS CHILD, I WAS NEVER CREATED TO BE TRAPPED IN THIS DRUG THING. HE HAD ACTUALLY DELIVERED ME FROM THINGS TT I DIDN'T EVEN THINK TO ASK. I knew that it was deliverance bcz i never even tot abt it at all... Even the sight of syringes does nothing to me...and I had a great affinity for using IV. But long story short, I realised tt The more we 'STRUGGLE' with something, figuring out IF GOD WANTS ME TO DO IT MYSELF OR WHATEVER, OVERTHINKING AND FEARING WHEN I USE AGAIN, IM BASICALLY NOT TRUSTING IN HIS WORK. MY faith would fluctuate madly and even tho I knew my identity in him, the circumstances had me entrapped in confusion. I didn't even know if I was a daughter or a beggar. Then I understood one thing, Jesus's death wasn't just a ticket to heaven. He died and overcame sin & death already. So each time we worry, we are glorifying a dead symptom. I started to feel less tension...even as I used...I CONFESSED OUT LOUD, and I'm gonna agree in prayer with you now, "FATHER, I THANK YOU LORD, TT YOU ARE SO FAITHFUL & UR GREAT LOVE FOR ME IS SO INTIMATE. I GIVE GLORY TO YOU BECAUSE I KNOW AND HAVE FAITH THAT U ARE ALREADY WORKING WITHIN ME TO TRANSFORM MY HEART. HELP ME TO LEARN MORE FROM THE TRUTH OF WHO I AM AND YOUR PURPOSE FOR ME so tt UR GLORY will be manifested through me. I WANT TO BE SET FREE FROM THE FALSE LABELS of the world and my own self effort is never going to sustain nor truly fulfill the BEST tt u desire me to Have. I DONT HAVE TO SETTLE FOR LESS BCZ IN CHRIST, I AM MORE THAN A CONQUERER. FATHER, U KNOW ME EVEN MORE THAN I KNOW MYSELF. TQ FOR MEETING ME WHERE I AM NOW, BCZ U ALONE CAN TURN ALL EVIL INTO GOOD. I surrender my all to you as u continue to transform my heart. I know the journey will not be a smooth one but I TRUST not in my own feelings, the opinions of others, exterior circumstances nor unmet expectations. Holy Spirit, comfort me & guide me into deeper REVELATION from the Living word and even listening to the sermons tt will develop my nature gradually. Open my spiritual eyes anD GIVE ME THE WISDOM tt ONLY SEES THE TRUTH OF WHAT I NEED TO KNOW FOR MY SPIRITUAL GROWTH. It's not important for me to know HOW or what or why anymore bcz MY FAITH ONLY LIES IN WHO. And in Jesus, I KNOW I'M SECURE. Help me to be sensitive to your LEADing & promptings so tt the neither the devil not my flesh can deceive me into a direction tt isn't of you. But even if tt happens and I stumble into dark situations again....your word says tt you will NEVER LEAVE ME NOR FORSAKE ME. FROM HERE ON, I SURRENDER MYSELF TO YOU FATHER, AND I BELIEVE THAT IN ALL THINGS, UR FAITHFULNESS AND SUPPLY OF ABUNDANT GRACE WILL NEVER FAIL TO BREAK THESE CHAINS OF BONDAGE OFF ME.. TQ FATHER. I LOVE YOU AND I WANNA KNOW YOU MORE. AMEN! THE ENEMY IS THE TEMPTER AND THE ACCUSER. HE IS AS GOOD AS DEAD. HOWVEEVR, HE IS EVER READY TO POUNCE ON BELIEVERS WHO DUNNO WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST. This man, Rick Warren, went against the Southern Baptist Convention. This man is against the New Testament, against the apostle Paul, who said, 1 Timothy 2:11 "Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve." 1 Corinthians 11:2 "Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved. 6 For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered. 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man is not from woman, but woman from man. 9 Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. 10 For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord. 12 For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman; but all things are from God." 1 Corinthians 11:16 "But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God." 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of [i]confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. 34 Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church. 36 Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? 37 If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. 38 But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant." Is it mean to follow Christ. After all, it is His church. Does the pot say to the potter, why did you make thus? Satan was the original egalitarian, as Satan wanted to be "Like", as in equal to the Most High (Isaiah 14:14). What is next Rick Warren, an "open and affirming" church? Rick perhaps you should consider resigning as a representative of Christ. We cannot go against His word, the Bible, and still be His. Is Rick, and I know people will be offended, which is not my intention, but is Rick more of a wolf, or a servant of Christ. Servants do not go against their Master.

But I met a counterfeit man he disagreed that and said no matter what Christian done can go to the heaven anyway. I think it is not okay. Because when you get saved, the Spirit of Christ now lives within you. That means that you also must stay away from sin. But there are alsp unexpected instances when we dont intend to sin but we still do..but since the spirit of Christ lives within us now, we will feel like our "conscience" will stop us from doing bad things or sinning and turning into repentance.
