wow, I am flabbergasted how someone at such a young age can save more than 30k a year, meaning more than 2500 bugs a month. As savings, so after spending for rent, food, hobbies, wow. I dont now how you do it, but good for you.

It wasn’t saving 30k in a year - it was to reach 30k in my savings account total. So sorry if that wasn’t clear! The 5k for travel was an additional amount I wanted to save last year though ❤️

I’m 38 in February and with that big 40 knocking on the door I’m freaking out 😂 Like you I had been anxious before I’d turned 30 as there were things I’d planned to have ticked off which didn’t happen and as it got closer I somehow stopped worrying about it and actually my 30s have been the best, I finally found my soul mate and had a baby daughter and I love watching your videos. I know you’re looking forward to your summer of KZbin but it’s actually nice and refreshing to see that you do actually have another job outside of KZbin. I also live vicariously through you on your days into the office as it’s something I don’t do all that often now! Not sure why I’m waffling so much but Happy New Year !!

I actually find your channel because of your 9-5 job when you had around 2k subscribers. I understand if you choose to be content creator “only”, but the wast majority just can’t relate to that lifestyle and the wow factor of your channel disappears. It’s kind of a bittersweet thing for some of the followers I guess. Anyways, I’ll be enjoying your channel until I can relate, and Happy New Year! 😊🎉

Happy New Year 😊 I am reasonably new to your channel but have loved seeing the mix of Corporate and personal side. I’m a couple of decades older than you and must admit my career has not gone the way I thought it would (although, when examining this side of life I don’t think I ever had any definite plans of what I wanted to do) but from the brief viewing of your Channel it seems like you have so many options - setting up your own company, focusing on KZbin, contracting occasionally etc. etc. I have spent the last 6 years building back from a very bad financial position and now know that having the flexibility to take time off when you want and to be able to examine where you want to be is such a fantastic feeling and believe you are the type of person that will make full use of the situation. Gaining more financial skills is SO essential. I didnt start with that until 2020 and cringe at how much more saving I could have had if i started earlier. BUT its never too late to get started. I personally think everyone should invest in index funds inside their ISA's - set it & forget it. Happy New Year Everyone!

I know its your life, but i am personally watching your videos because you are like me, work a 9-5. There are so many youtubers who only do KZbin as a work and i just cant relate to them. Just wanted to tell you that I stopped watching almost everybody who doesnt work in a traditional job/freelance. And will probably stop watching yours too. I dont need more content, we need relatable content.

It’s not that big of a deal, this New Year thing! I mean it’s 2024 soon it’ll be 2025 then 26 27 28 29 then 2030🫨yeah another year older and deeper in debt! That’s all this year the same as all other New Year’s Eve and Day just make the best of it and if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
