Adam to see how fast you dove back up on Ben after breaking 3rd was crazy. your car is fast AF. Also for the cooling. drop the 4 pass, the time it takes for the hot intake to reach the cold side you have done heat soaked the cold side while the motor is just cooking. hard to explain. but id enclose the area between bumper to rad to force ALL the air coming in to go through rad rather then flow out around it as well as making sure the engine bay air can get out from under the car as fast as possible..

From racing circle track we found that a double pass did much better then a quad and a little better then a triple but they were close. The quad seemed to slow the system down to much so we ran a double with a restrictor in place of the thermostat and played with restrictor sizes. And as im sure u already do use distilled water and water wetter. I'm sure u have all the other basics covered. Since u cant get to the limiter i'm sure u have a hell of a load on the engine.

Adam if you haven't modified your truck. You should probably get it looked at because there not supposed to roll black smoke. A buddy of mine had one that was stock and started rolling black smoke and stuff started breaking which isn't hard with all the stuff they put into the trucks these days to keep emission levels down
