@@LeopoldToure-pc5pcUh no. The Endless is the conceptual cosmic being of the Universe or DC’s Omniverse. One can abondoned their role like Destruction but they cant die. Morpheus only die because he giving up his life for his sister Death to take. And for the role of Dream/Sandman, Morpheus simply pass it down to Daniel Hall, which somewhat is his son, not incarnation. The Endless are simply cannot die if they dont want to since the concepts are very much still alive.

"Death" is a different concept among the Endless. They just transition to a different form. The only true way to kill them is to wipe out all of existence. Even then, they'll be remade when the next universe is born. Granted Morpheus "died", yet not really. His 'form' was destroyed, yet his consciousness transferred to his son. Plus they aren't "alive" in the traditional sense. They are concepts given form. As long as the concept exists, the endless exists. Death will always exist as long as life comes to an end; Dream will always exist as long as sentient beings are creative or long for something better; Destruction exists as long as the physical world exists; Desire exists as long as sentient life want more. So, they are Endless. As long as existence exists.

@@TheInfamousWolf Not very creative, because it's pretty accurate with the description of angels since they don't have a gender. Not only this, but this is not Gwen's fault, this is the vision for the show, so anyone cast would obey the same rules. So maybe someone like Tilda Swinton (although she's too big) or even Mason (who was cast as Desirewever I'd argue that was the perfect role for them) could be in this role. Either way, the result would be probably very similar.
