It’s funny how consumerist culture can get a millionaire to say “trash for some, treasure for us”, so much secondhand dishes that she probably rarely use that could’ve gone to people who only have the budget for those. It’s such a crazy indication of privelege to be able to CHOOSE to buy cheap and secondhand items when you can afford not to. Heart is undeniably a good person, this is just an observation of how people can be blinded by privelege even in the most trivial things, like dishes. It all adds up.

Hindi naman po kami mayaman, pero it's also something my mom tells us na kapag bibili kami in the future ng mga gamit sa kusina, mas better na yung medyo pricey ngayon pero magagamit naman for a very long time 👌 It really is more practical. Instead of buying low quality na mga gamit tapos madalas pa kasi madaling masira/mabasag, mas makaka-save talaga. My mom is very proud of her plate collection kasi I'm 21 and the plates we still use at home are either as old as I am or a few years older. I love the additional tips and advice, Miss Heart ❤❤
