Set up a solar dump load

Your batteries will see many micro top charge cycles and they will wear and sulphate faster with this method. Better to use a voltage sensitive relay on the battery which switches the pv directly, so that panels dump power directly without micro cycling your batteries.

@Humanity101-zp4sq well thats one way to do it, my setup is so the battery never gets 100% they will never be more than lets say 98% its just a matter of adjustment of the trigger voltage. This way dont need any fancy electronics and is cheap and really easy to install and setup but there are "better" ways to do it. The things i found cost more than my battery so everything depends

@Humanity101-zp4sq thats just what this board is, a volt sensitive relay hooked on the solar output on the mppt, that turns on when the battery is at 98% and off att 96%
