I have a kindle paperwhite signature and an oasis and I love them both. My paperwhite is decorated with stickers and a pop socket, but my oasis is plain and has doesn’t even have a case on it. I need to get one for it soon. I do keep it in a sleeve though to protect it. So sad to hear that they didn’t get your kindle back to you!!! I would die a little inside honestly. But I’m also glad you got your new one and can get back to reading on it.

I had an Oasis years ago and then switched to a Paperwhite. I really prefer the Oasis so tried getting one about a year ago and the battery life was awful - only lasted about a day. I read the same in several reviews. How have u found the Oasis battery life?

have your kindle in airplane mode unless youre downloading a book and it saves SO much battery

i haven't noticed the battery life going down quickly, but that could be because it's still new!
