The Best Kindle in 2024 | PAPER WHITE VS OASIS?

I have had the Paperwhite that I gave to my sister because a couple of years ago I bought the 10th generation Kindle Oasis and I totally agree with you about the functionality of its screen when being able to rotate it and its physical buttons for turning the pages, I also agree with what you say about charging its battery more frequently than the Paperwhite, if you charge a mobile phone daily I don't think it will be annoying to charge the Oasis every two weeks, more or less depending on its use, I work on the high seas and we don't always have a wifi signal on ships or when we arrive at a port, with the Oasis I can connect to the Amazon store through its free 3g and thus be able to buy books, it has its flaws but for me it is a top device, greetings from Spain...🙂

I got an oasis from Mercari about 2 weeks ago and I’m obsessed! I still use my paperwhite quite a bit but I love my oasis down

Thanks for this review! I have an Oasis (10th generation) but I have to charge it almost every day and it doesn’t fully charge. I had a kindle prior to the Oasis (I forget which one) and I could go weeks without charging it. The Oasis was such a disappointment, although I love the buttons. I’m thinking of getting a Paperwhite to carry around with me and I’m happy to hear about the usb-c, which makes it more compatible with my other tech.

im so mad they discontinued the oasis. the battery on mine is dying and isn't holding a charge as long, I really dont want a paperwhite without turn page buttons. I dont know what to do 😭there are other brands with page turn buttons but they seem like shit in comparison

did you try landscape on the paperwhite? you will get the lefbig bezel to hold just like the oases have

I have the 10th Gen Paperwhite which is the 6inch screen and then got 11th Gen Paperwhite love that one more. But when I lost my dad last year we found his oasis 9th Gen which doesn't have the warm light but I don't really mind. I do love the oasis and paperwhite and I read between them both and I agree the Oasis's battery life isn't great but I can get two days out of it

The OASIS seems to be that girl! Everyone raves about that one. I have the kindle basic which is so tiny and cute. Then I have a a 13 year old Kindle Fire which I used to love for the color but it’s so outdated now it stopped syncing/downloading some of my books. But I would definitely get the kindle color that is supposed to drop next year.
