Set up Song Request on TikTok LIVE (TikFinity Tutorial)

im having problem when i use command !play [Song - Artist], tts chat will read it and nothing happen to spotify. can you help me? i join the tikfinity dc but got no answer there..

If you don't have a command for tts and it's just reading all chats then that will happen for any command viewers send. As far as the !play not working with Spotify, I'm having the same issue where neither Tikfinity nor Spotify recognizes the command. Joined the Tikfinity discord to try to get an answer also and there was none. I think I saw your question there too lol. I'm hoping they do an update soon to fix it because it's very frustrating since I told my viewers I was going to setup song requests for them. If you happen to find a fix please reply to my comment.

So I got it set up but every time someone requests a song, it's some weird version, like karaoke version or something like that. None of my viewers were able to have the songs they actually wanted to play be played

For some reason it stopped working, my viewers use the command and it won't add songs to queue, I cant find an answer anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have to have song request in portrait mode for it to work when you are streaming in portrait mode?

Thanks BUT you didn’t cover audio. Mine is is all linked from Spotify to Infinity to studio with overlays, etc. but no audio. What’s missing? That wasn’t covered in the video. Thanks!

Nvm just found a solution. First make sure ur playing a song on Spotify in the background (u can turn the volume down temporarily) then right click the speaker icon and click open sound settings then go to apps on the bottom and find Spotify and select headphones. Once you do that add the audio and select headphones and it should be playing. Hopefully I explained this decently I’m pretty bad at explaining but lmk if u got questions

The audio has to run through TT studio. Select external speakers in settings and it should link directly.

Ok since my google wouldn’t give me the answer my question is say i’m playing a game like siege where I need to hear the sound of the game but I want my viewers to be able to request songs but only they can hear it and I can’t?? Is there anyway I can do that or not???

You can do it with a hardware mixer or through OBS. Not sure about Live Studio

Best would be to ask in Tikfinity discord but I'm guessing that you can unlink the connection on Spotify settings
