I used one layer for the majority of the process. I used a second layer when I wanted to try something out. Otherwise the whole piece was done on a single layer.

I am interested in drawing and I want to start to get into it.. and the simplest of things boggle me. Thus, as simple and as ridiculous as my question may sound, I want to know how you switch between your color choices so quickly when drawing. How do you do it conviniently without having to pop up the color palette a hundred times over?

Thank you for the insight to your techniques. You explained the techniques in coloring but not technically how you select them in the software. Can you tell me how you technically select color in software? Do you have to open the color wheel everytime, adjusting for over a hundred tones by doing it a hundred times?

The color wheel is always already there by default on Paint Tool SAI so there's nothing to open up. I just eyeball for the color I want by clicking on a color and adjusting the brightness if necessary.

I don't know if this will help but I have the Wacom Bamboo. I really love it, I've had it for about 3 years now. The only thing that bothers me is finding pen nib replacements and the connector from the tablet to my computer broke but I found my kindle charger works fine as a replacement. Other than that it was worth it. =)

Yeah, sorry if you preferred the original songs on the video. It's to avoid copyright claims and allow everyone in the world to watch my videos without a problem. I changed all my videos that had copyright claims on them for that purpose. Currently using the free music KZbin provides on the older videos, but I will be using better free music in the future. Hopefully it won't stop you from enjoying my videos.
