Please Dont mention as it is equal to omni buses due to air suspension. Omni buses have bought the air suspension before 2008 and the features you mentioned are only by default and are not good enough. The engine is a basic level engine and its Ashok Leyland Freedom 12M TF 2012 variant which is sold as only chassis in the name of 12M. And more features are there in omni buses. Electronically the speed lock is done by ashok leyland itself and we can remove easily. 80KMPH for safety purpose is not acceptable and It is a lame reason. We can go upto 110kmph. I lost hope on the government run buses. They dont even maintain properly. There is another variant that is A Series 4 Cylinder 250HP and 900 mm torque in the same Ashok Leyland Freedom TF 2512 12M. This high end variant will not be ideal for government anymore. Its time to upgrade for Higher speeds and higher standard roads. Please dont take me wrong. If I were the bus driver, seriously I will cruise at 120+ KMPH. 80KMPH speed lock is literally making me anger. Without speed lock and RPM limitations like 3000+ RPM this bus touches roughly 160 KMPH. The gearbox is ZF S6 36 gearbox which is not ideal for long route operations and its literally a town bus gear box. Gear Ratio is very very less. And it is not a retarder variant. Air suspension will be destroyed sooner. Omni buses are preferable always.
