Yea I understand why you are concerned, that I commend you for your diligence for safety and longevity. So why wouldn’t you go with an F450? Higher limits, plus wider front axle, with sharper turning angles. Not to mention bigger brakes. Also what’s the CGVW? Because im looking at about 18,000 lbs min for the load of 1, full size truck, 1, mid size truck, the HHR, Subaru and the car in the center. One final question. Do you need to run a log of any type? Paper or electronic? Do you use motels?

I purchased a 350 when pairing my 1st trailer (3 car) and truck combo when I did not have a CDL. I couldn't find a realistic price at the time for a 450 either. Ive since purchased a day cab and will be moving this truck to personal use now that I have my CDL. It honestly does fine for what its doing but I wanted to pull more than 5 so I purchased a tractor. CGVW is combined gross vehicle weight logs are required as well as DOT numbers for any commercial motor vehicle CDL or Non. when involved in commerce. Electronic logs are required on vehicles manufactured 1999/2000 and newer, some variables can apply with tractors equipped with older engines. Some paper log laws are acceptable but check your local laws based on your authority and operating radius to be sure. I rarely stay overnight anywhere, if its required I favor IHG rewards hotels personally.

@@sethchurchvid great explanation. I have cdl A and planning getting into this business. Do I need first experience on semi truck to begin hauling cars with it? Or should I begin with 5-car hauling on RAM 3500 or F-350? please inform me

You can use many different setups. Rules, insurance and laws are still the same. Just plan on multiple trips to start. 🥳

I’ve not worked for a company before, we use to hire other companies before I started transporting our cars and it evolved into hauling for many others
