Seth, I once hit my funny bone really hard on the corner of a wall, the left side of my hand was completely numb for about a week after but gained full sensation back in the end
@SethsBikeHacks6 жыл бұрын
that’s comforting! I read that I should give it a few weeks and then see a doctor if it’s not gone. So hopefully you-me-same.
@jeffeyro6 жыл бұрын
I once got hit by a baseball bat (full swing) in the funny bone. My fingers were stuck, completely locked into a fist for the first few hours. It took about 3-5 days for my pinky and ring finger to unlock and fully extend. Oddly, nothing was broken and after my fingers all came up, I was good to go!
@FindaratoCarnesir6 жыл бұрын
I also got a serious knock in the wrong place like this (though I did it with a ladder, not a bike). I nearly passed out from the shock, and it took several days for the sensation to fully return in my hand. But ever since, I get some tingling feeling every now and then from my elbow to my pinky finger. So don't wait too long with seeing a doctor if it doesn't go away soon!
@gav2256 жыл бұрын

6:20 I get like this too. I've learned that when I nail it and then start pushing it, it's time to go home, rest up asap. Sleep on it, and hit it again in the morning well rested. I'll usually find myself more consistent (and flowy, like it's natural) and making less mistakes. Scientifically, it makes sense because your brain commits its neuroplasticity when you sleep well after learning or experiencing something. So good rest is essential to keeping (and further developing) your newfound skill! I know how hard it is to fight the urge to keep going back at it... usually just ends up in me getting hurt...
