Only 7 minutes in and there's a lot of vital information missed out. You're ignoring the fact that Jiraiya wasn't intending to hurt Naruto at all, he was only intending to contain him. Additionally, Orochimaru's abilities makes him better equipped to deal with Naruto specifically anyway. "It was a little roofie" No, it was quite a big one. It reduced Jiraiya's effectiveness by 70%. To put that in perspective, Itachi at 30% got beat by early shippuden Kakashi and Naruto. Taking away 70% is quite significant. I implore you to do extensive research into each character BEFORE these videos, because these come off as something that isn't objectively analysed and instead it seems like one huge argument for why one person would beat the other. In this case a huge argument for why Orochimaru >> Jiraiya, at least so far. Kisame and Itachi's discussion is legit. Kisame is by no means a humble guy and considering how widely known Jiraiya's abilities are, him saying that Jiraiya is leagues above him is pretty considerable. Also, Itachi didn't say Jiraiya was better, he just said that if they fought they both may die, even if he had backup from other Akatsuki members. Furthermore, Kisame is also aware of Itachi's abilities, so him agreeing with Itachi's statements is something to be considered. I'm further in the video and you said "naruto blitzed asura path and asura path blitzed jiraiya". You guys know a lot, but I feel since it's likely there's not much research done here, you're unintentionally missing some information and/or context. Asura path wasn't even facing Naruto when he got 'blitzed', he was going after Tsunade. Also, Jiraiya wasn't even aware of Asura path being anywhere around him, so it was less of a speedblitz and more of a surpise attack/cheap shot. Pain saying Jiraiya would have won is legit. Pain had knowledge of Jiraiya's abilities from the start, as shown by when he perfectly countered Jiraiya's starting moves. At this point Jiraiya had 0 knowledge of Pain's abilities, so Pain had an advantage at the very beginning. Additionally, Jiraiya was unfamiliar with the environment, since Pain had a homefield advantage. And I'm sorry, but just because you don't agree with what Pain said, doesn't make it untrue. I think you guys really underestimate Jiraiya. "Jiraiya didn't have a huge bijuu thingy" Well of course, but he does have intelligence. Itachi easily figured out how to counter Chibaku Tensei, so why can't Jiraiya, who's also a genius in combat, figure out how to counter it? TL:DR This video isn't a balanced analysis and there was a lot of misinformation. @@Chriscraft-ug3sz do you know anything about orochimaru… he’s literally constantly in a equivalent of imperfect sage mode.. he has infinite amount of sage chakra gained from jugo, on top of his already large amount of chakra reserves, he mastered all 5 chakra natures, mastered all ninjutsu including seals, hes one of the best swordsman probably only rivaled by sasuke, and that’s on top of having the kusinagi blade which was able to hurt the diamond staff (which could push away a complete 9 tails), he has multiple kekkai genkai, (Jugos infinite sage chakra reserves as mentioned before) on top of wood release, bone release, and the iburi clan kekkai genkai (which makes him switch between snake or gas forms) and also last but not least sakon and ukons kekkai genkai, which makes him virtually untouchable, this isn’t even including his hydra form!!! Which is a transformation that mixes the 8 tails dna, sage chakra and a boost from the white snake, and this is all without mentioning his regeneration ability thanks to the hashirama cells, that would help him regenerate health during battle, and don’t even get me started with his boruto regeneration which is comparable to the 10 tails jinchuriki, like it or not, jaraiya just doesn’t even compare, they literally had to seal orochimarus hands to nerf him

You guys seem to really generalize a lot of things in this video. Jiraiya said naruto transforming nearly killed him because Im pretty sure anyone trying to CONTAIN, not fight or beat, that fuckin thing would get pretty close to death. The fact it has corrosive skin makes capture far more dangerous than simply fighting it. The whole 4 tailed thing isn't even that fair, orochimaru was basically a perfect counter to 4 tailed naruto, aka snake decoys, ranged sword attacks, powerful barriers to help block its massive raw power, meanwhile jiraiya would have to get up close. You cant just rely solely on power scaling to determine a winner. Not every fight between two characters is cut and dry, different strengths, unique abilities all play into each other and you guys flat out ignore that sometimes.

I dont think Orochimaru is stronger than Sage Kabuto. Dude was fighting edo itachi and ems sasuke. I dont see orochimaru lasting more than a minute in that scenario. But itachi has been consistently shown above orochimaru, who if lowballed is equal to jiraiya. Sage jiraiya got speed blitzed by the asura path. I honestly believe kisame would shitstomp sage jiraiya. Without samehada he forced guy into the 7th gate. I just dont think jiraiya is that strong.

Manga Guru He took on all 6 Pains at the same time with absolutely no intel on his opponent. He killed 3 Pains (although 2 were resurrected), and handled himself VERY well up until the end. He could've escaped alive, but like a true shinobi, completed his mission by gathering intel (such intel being that the real one isn't among the 6 paths, and that they possess the Rinnegan (which includes duel shared vision). Had Jiraiya already possessed full intel on Pain (like Naruto and Co. did), he could've killed at least 4 of the Pains (possibly 5 with the exception of the Deva Path). P.S. Jiraiya's "imperfect" sage mode is just from absorbing a bit too much nature energy and hasn't been stated to be much weaker than perfect sage mode. Plus with Fukasaku and Ma, it's over man. People sleep on them. That Genjutsu though!!! Wind and water release plus increased mobility with the tongues. My personal opinion is that Jiraiya in sage mode beats Orochimaru. I don't think "base" comparisons matter too much because Jiraiya if he was fighting to kill would for sure use sage mode. Great video guys.

Okay I gotta “Debunk” some of these things you guys are saying to prove Orochimaru is stronger cause its definitely off. I like your videos but I do notice the tendency to miss key detail and/or exaggerate or downplay stuff sometimes and this is one of those cases. Plus this was a huge Bias against Jiraya. SO many points assumed for Orochimaru yet everything Jiraiya has done was being discredited. Let me break down whats wrong: 1. The Four Tails Fight Point: First you guys don’t know how the Jiraiya vs 4 tails naruto fight went at all you just know jiraiya got really hurt. He could have fought naruto all day then got that wound for all you know so don’t just assume he got beat instantly. Plus you shouldn’t trust some filler fight the anime only made up to decide it. They make up a lot of ridiculous non canon fights. And even if you really wanted to use it he clearly wasnt going all out at all and using only restricting justus. The 4 tails fight with jiraiya proves nothing cause of all I said and of course he wouldn’t go all out against a student who is also his god child and the one he considers the destinded child who will save the world. Orochimaru was out for the kill and that’s why he was doing well. Plus orchimaru could have been as hurt but he clearly was onstantly regenerating and changing his body to avoid the constant death 4 tails brought his way. That’s why he avoided any critical hits. Yes that’s part of Orochimarus move set but that also shows Jiraiya being badly hurt could have been the same for Orochimaru too if not for that. Lastly for this point Orochimaru still don’t beat 4 tails and he was still fucked up after the fight. 2. The death seal Orochimaru vs Drugged Jiraiya fight: I big cause of you guys down playing jiraiyas condition. Yes Orochimaru was heavily weaker thanks to the seal but Jiraiya was weakened to around the same level. It wasn’t just some ruffy after affects like you guys are downplaying. It caused him not to even be able to mold chakra properly at all not to mention affected his movement a bit still. As we see Justsus are to core of Jiraiyas move set vs Orochimaru who has shown to be great with hand to hand fighting the most (despite no hand lol). He was fighting Orochimaru at his own field. Plus at least orochimaru could fight all out (with what he had left) vs Jiraiya who could barely do anything to fight back. Definitely think Jiraiya would win this and not cause of hype or all that but because of everything we’ve seen them actually do in the series. A lot of orchimarus strength after he left was just based of speculation and hype vs what we ACTUALLY seen. Just cause he knows a lot doesn’t mean he wins a fight. Kakaishi knows over 1000 Justsus but does that mean he could beat people like Naruto or sasuke or Hashirama who clearly know way less? Yea no cause it doesn’t prove whose stronger. Ive seen Jiraiya do many moves that I down orochimaru can even counter like the sage sound genjustsu or that Toad stomach summon. Jiraiya just has him beat at almost everthing in sage mode. Power, physicality, summons, Justus etc. Plus Jiraiya has a TON of sealing Techniques to seal his healing. Also there is a cleary bias in this video. I just find it funny how so many key details were said for Orochimaru but barely Jiraiya which clearly showed how much of a bias there was. Like saying itachi didnt mean what he said yet everything that hype up orochimaru is law despite havent seeing most of his other moves. Like assuming Just cause Orochimaru wanted to fight itachi that he could actually BEAT SUSANNO?? come on. Really with out the sword he would lose?!! He just throw snakes at a freaken susanno. Seeing all the feats of a susanno i cant believe that was said. Plus all the other asumptions like "orochimaru can probably do curse seaL". Seriously if its not shown or stated its not a point at all. Yet it is assumed against jiraiya cause you guys want him to lose.....why dont we include more points against orochimaru too like him like barely being able to beat a weaken Third hokagee with two other sumoned Kage (even if they were weaker) that was orochimaru doing all he can to win and still barely did. These guys are way down playing jiraiya.. first, orochimaru can summon edo tensei, but funny enough, a 6v1 strategy was applied to jiraiya when he fought pain and jiraiya showed he is more than capable of singling out one of them by dragging a pain to his own dimension and killing it with the advantage of his own dimension (while lost an arm). then you have the itachi and kisame incident where with a single summoning jutsu, he trapped everyone (including himself inside a toad stomach, meaning even if kisame and itachi kills jiraiya, their are still going to get captured. Compare these two technique, its obvious he has improved by a vast amount since war flashbacks (especially in time-space jutsu) so saying he didnt improve like orochimaru is utter non-sense. then you have the four tails incident, so many people pointed out that jiraiya wasnt trying to kill, and i agree, since if jiraiya was dominated, how did he manage to seal naruto's nine tails chakra. Orochimaru, this guy has wind style, earth style, summoning, his snake jutsu, and his body transformation jutsu. But you put all that together, jiraiya's fire style beats wind style, sage fire style would probably wreck earth style too, orochimaru can spam snake summonings but he never showed any variant of summoning jutsu, jiraiya can summon people and things in and out of dimensions, changing battlefields and so on. orochimarus body transformation is nice, but jiraiya over powers him in taijutsu regardless, only thing left is mystic snake hand which is incredibly fast, so not sure how that might play. orochimaru could edo tensei but like against pain, jiraiya is not dumb enough to always engage head on, rather choose favourable 1v1s in other dimensions. Plus jiraiya showed he is capable of sealing jutsu against amatersu so i see no problem in sealing edo tensei.

I think you guys need to re-watch Itachi vs Orochimaru (8-Head Mode), Itachi decapitated 7/8 heads before using the ability of the Totsuka blade. Jiraiya tried to subdue Naruto, whereas Orochimaru was really trying to hurt Naruto. That’s the difference in this battle. While getting Naruto to unleash his nine tails, Naruto lost control and Jiraiya was caught off guard, trying to get Naruto to calm down. Orochimaru genuinely try to hurt Naruto.

I think it's a bit unfair to say Orochimaru's 8 headed serpent would beat Itachi's susano'o if he didn't have the totska blade and yata mirror because the 8 headed serpant shook Itachi's susano'o literally like 2 minutes before Itachi flat out dropped dead of exhaustion/heart disease after fighting Sasuke to the point of exhaustion. I think it's safe to say an Itachi in his prime, or at least Itachi in the same state he was in but simply didn't literally JUST have an intense battle, would probably have handled the 8 headed serpent's attack much better.

Seriously biased in favour of Orochimaru. Let's stop for a moment and think back to a couple of scenes. When Orochimaru joined the Atkatski he wanted the eyes of Itachi but was pretty much stopped in his attempts right away with what appeared to be very little effort. We are then introduced to jiraiya and he was able to have both Itachi and Kisame on the run and the statement itachi says states that of they had gone all out both he and Juraiya would have killed each other, even if the number of ninja against jiraiya were to increase, the result would remain the same Then you have the fateful showdown between Jiraiya and Pein and Jiraiya was winning the fight until he was caught off guard having learned Peins secret too late. Pein himself admitted that if Jiraiya had come into the battle with that knowledge then the outcome would have been different, and this was said by a ninja who knew pretty much everything there was to know about Jiraiya. Jiraiya in terms of overall battle prowess and chakra makes him the strongest sannin. Just remember in order to achieve safe mode the proper way (nin of this hand out crap both orochimaru and Sasuke got) requires very high natural levels of chakra, which Jiraiya had and with frog Kumiti (not sure that spelt right) he could blind sight anyone in taijutsu as naruto did against pein.

As everyone else has said, Obviously Jiraya would hold back against naruto. There's no proof he knows the full extent of naruto's regen ability so it's fair to assume he would start with weaker attacks and move up to stronger attacks. Giving demon naruto enough time to damage him. He states this to show that naruto is difficult to defend against in this state and possessed enough power to damge him that badly. his other example of a time he was near death was from tsunade, who he most likely was not fighting against also and recieved a beating from, what he was saying waas given his durability it was amazing he could be that badly injured. we don't know the details of the cannon fight so for all we know naruto could have sneak attacked him by changing quickly, or the battle could have gone on longer than the one between orochimaru and naruto, and jiraiya would not be attacking as viciously as orochimaru. imagine a child throwing a tantrum. If you want to restrain them to stop, without hurting them you'll probably get hit or kicked in the face which could hurt, but you're not going to hit the kid back with your full force because you could seriously injure them and that's not what you want, you just want to calm them down. Even if itachi convinced kisame not to fight Jiraiya because he was an ally (Though that didn't mean shit for kakashi). I think it still says a lot that kisame did not want to fight Jiraiya even with itachi backing him up, especially when we all know itachi could body orochimaru, and there's no reason to believe kisame doesn't know that. Hell, knowing the way kisame is you would think he'd want to fight jiraiya if he was weaker than orochimaru just to get him out of the way and complete the mission. Did you guys just actually use the fact that "The third hokage was stated to be the most powerful hokage"? First of all that was in his prime, he was an old man when he fought orochimaru. Secondly that statement, while made, is obviously not true as seen from the feats of every other hokage. Hiruzen in part one was probably supposed to be the most powerful, but that changed by shippuden. In fact there's a very obvious change in power scaling and power cannon in part two. Especially seeing how unimpressive the third hokage and sanin become to itachi, who had originally stated that him and kisame couldn't defeat jiraiya, it's fair to chalk that up to Itachi not wanting to fight an ally now, but that was probably a legitimate statement in part one. Or how minato was super hyped in part one but was not as hyped in part two. or how the ninetails in part one was basically an uncontrollable force like a hurricane in part one, but became a controllable entity in part 2 by sharingan users and even the first hokage. Hashirama is obviously the strongest hokage from part 2, but in part one where it was stated hiruzen was the strongest it was probably him, or maybe minato according to hiruzen's fear of orochimaru bringing an edo minato to the battle. regardless you can't use the third hokage's ranking from part one as a way to wank orochimaru because the third hokage did not seem stronger than any of the sannin based off of feats. That snake that "could destroy the susanoo" never showed that ability, and was in fact bodied by the susanoo without use of the spirit weapons. Jiraya had to discover that all the paths of pain were linked, he had to discover their abilities, he had to see how they acted in formation, and see the chakra rods, and figure out what they were doing. He did not know the secret until he was near the end of that battle and was already depleted of chakra and he didn't know that the others he killed would come back or that there would even be so many paths. he had all the odds stacked against him and he dominated considering all of that. saying the deva path out sped him is false. he was not expecting the deva path, the deva path snuck up on him, not out sped him. that's like saying that zetsu out sped madara. A statement you two would crucify anyone for saying. Honestly this was a garbage video from you two, and I really respect your content. You guys just kept trying to force a side like some deathbattle bullshit. regardless i like your content but if you keep this shit up I won't stick around. TheCarbonMirror Itachi convincing Kisame that they shouldn't fight Jiraiya because he was trying to protect the Leaf village was an Itachi Fanboy made theory easily debunked in the same chapter in which the theory was made. Ch.144, Kisame was the one that started the conversation about not fighting Jiraiya thus proving Itachi didn't have to convince Kisame of anything! Kisame knew who Jiraiya was(as does most of the ninja world)and knew he didn't stand a chance! Itachi confirms his fears by saying"if we(Kisame and Itachi)were to fight him we would both die"or it would end in a stalemate, even if he(Itachi)brought more backup the result would be the same. Itachi didn't like to kill but he would if it meant staying undercover considering the fact that he was going to kidnap Kakashi to find out what he knew about the Akatsuki and he ordered Kisame to kill Kurenai and Asuma. The only reason Kisame didn't was because Might Guy showed up and it started to get too noticeable and Itachi ordered a retreat. There was no way Itachi knew Guy was coming! Fanboy theory debunked!

Swagkage said that Itachi might not have wanted to fight Jiraiya, but then didn't state how Jiraiya obviously wouldn't have fought Naruto. Jiraiya would have been trying to place a seal on a Four Tail Naruto whilst not trying to hurt him, which is a LOT harder than Orochimaru just holding his own. If Jiraiya fought against a sick Itachi he'd defeat him with medium difficulty, the reason Orochimaru lost interest in Itachi was not because he was too strong but because of Sasuke who had a MUCH higher potential and MUCH stronger eyes.
