@Ashid Mikeks well that’s mostly the white working classes and that’s due to the fact they compete the most with immigrants for jobs and housing without understanding how that works socioeconomically many though not all have expressed bigotry , it’s easier to be angry at the Asian family who moved in next door than those who actually make the most money and decide on what does and who gets what.I have a little sympathy for the idea that it’s hard to see your area change, feel like you don’t fit in and even that yes ideally every ethnic group is better off in a safe environment where they originate but when that isn’t the case and there is mutual benefit and a long history of exploitation going the other way then it’s important to not act like a victim and accommodate the internal bigotry that labels ethnic newcomers as a threat to everything you hold dear because they are ‘insert every harmful stereotype peddled by the right’.It is a huge cop out to blame minorities for all of societies problems we make up a small fraction of it yet somehow are responsible for its problems.I don’t think it really is about the jobs or housing as much as it in about failures in integration , a lack of education on the parts of some communities and to a large extent Britain’s archaic class divide which some of the working classes seem to not be too fussed about or focused on dismantling.The lack of social mobility means there is a scarcity mindset at the bottom and it is and there doesn’t seem much effort to change the status quo because those with most power and the ruling and media class frankly cannot relate to either plight.
