What a great water journey, I am glad you were able to assist in relocation the Bandit. I bet he just smell the water. And of course the refill of water for the cabin. Back when I was a teenager on the farm in Michigan I trapped small game, fox, Racoon, I trapped this huge Racoon that would visit our barn to eat grain we store up in the Hayloff in gunny sacks from the grain elevator (We would fill up the pickup with about a ton of corn from our corn crib and drive to the Elevator to have them grind up with other minerals to the mix for feed for our Dairy Cows), but anyways this Racoon was doing alot of damage so I found out where he was coming from and set one of my traps in hopes I catch him, I did catch him and ended up taking to a taxidermist to have it mounted on a log. It turned out beautiful and I had brought him to Wisconsin, I helped a friend build a huge log house and sold him the Racoon to put in his log house, the guy moved and lives down the road of the Cheese Factory, and Still has it, I would like to see it again one day, My trapping end soon after the capture of the Racoon, I trapped a fox and couldn't kill it fast enough, I won't go into details but that stopped me from trapping. I came walking home with fox on my shoulder and crying, 😢 My mom comes out of house and said what's the matter, I said it looked at me with a tear in its eye and i got the impression it was saying Why are you doing this! I dropped the fox and went inside. After that I stopped trapping and became a small animal lover, I only hunted deer after that . True story..

My garden is doing great I have one honeydew melon, made a cradle for it as it is suspended. lots of little pickles. My water barrels are full. Hope the little racoon does ok. That turtle looked like it belonged in southern waters. I would like to know what kind it was. When I lived in a swamp in Florida, I use to come across turtles something like that, but not up here in the north. I now live in northeastern Washington state and have yet to see one like it here. Where you are in Canada, and here in the Pacific northwestern part of the U.S, I believe have allot of the same types of wildlife. Just curious. Anyway, thanks for the great nature videos. We live allot like you do, but in the mountains of Washington, so I can relate to the daily chores. Thanks for sharing your little slice of paradise.

Good Evening Lovely Lady, You three Ladies make me envious as usual. My canoe sits in the machine shed and when I see it, I see a trailer full of repair work for my Mom. I'll go this week to install her fireplace mantel after I cut it down, the lake house had a wider fireplace. Between welding, painting and replacing wood slats in gliders you are the only break I get this week. Thank You for releasing the Raccoon. Too often fools destroy them and without any regard to the local eco system. As usual you and Miss Ida have been great tension breakers for me with your slow lives of contentment in the country. Your weekly workout is actually a great relaxing time. I imagine the serenity of watching the spring water fill your containers on your escape from the property. Ha ha ha you said to the racoon " good luck little buddy " 😊 i lived like that one time, I had very little money but I was happy with the simplicity of life, I was happy with just the simple things, my health started failing me and I had to get more involved with society because i was becoming more dependant on the services that were provided there. Enjoy what you have, enjoy your simplicity, as you get older, this is going to be taken away from you, your body will not allow you to enjoy this life style forever, so be thankful for your health. Hello. I enjoyed watching your video alot. What beautiful scenery you have there where you live at. I live on a farm by Reward Saskatchewan Canada. We had hail here where i live at Saturday morning July 9th about 7:43am In the morning. The hail was like a golf ball size. It lasted about 10 minutes and we had some damage on our Crops from the hail and then I went over to my second brother that i farm with at his own farm and i found him laying on the floor in his farm house Died. That wasn't a very nice Saturday Morning for Me. I miss my brother alot.

I'm buying a fixer upper home. Got to redo power, roof, and plumbing. I had rattle snake inside house. Just hope my knee doesn't go out again. Home built into hill.
