Tazers and Shivs on this build are amazing. Glad you covered it. I'm still trying to find something viable with the mutant but with so much of it being RNG and hoping you get a string of stats it seems like it takes a while to get a good run.

Wave 12 is the last wave. You got close quite a few times, not bad. Drop the torches, melee is not good enough without crazy +range and that's too much of an investment. Go for 10+ armor, 24+ hps, and 16+ elemental damage to win (attack speed and move speed is decent if rerolls are expensive). You will want pierce, bounce, and more spread when possible.

Build idea! The zombie hunter. One armed, shotgun. Try for bandana and scared sausage. It's a thematic build were the enemies are zombie spuds. Focus on speed and life steal as you're secretly an ancient warrior named Russet.

Smg is the most fun weapon on one hand, its dmg is trash and it profits only by 50% from ranged dmg ups but god it is fun to be a bullet hose. Slap some lifesteal on that badboy and you got a build

Personally i feel like luck is one of the most underestimated stats here, it gives you survivability by more health drops, it gives you strong eco by dropping more loot and you can snowball rly hard by being overloaded with purples much more quickly, so i just suggest you try out the dumb one and see what happens

A super speed build. Go with the Speedy trait, start with SMG, then focus on attack speed, crit and life steal. You are attacking so much that even with like 2% life steal, you heal fairly often, and same for crits.

Here's an interesting idea i had regarding enemy speed scaling with level: at a certain point, the enemies get so unbearably fast that it's impossible to do anything. Similarly, upgrading movement speed will eventually make you uncontrollably fast. So why not have speed upgrades *reduce enemy speed*? This way, you are subjectively faster, and even get to feel like a badass with lightning reflexes as you dance around slow-mo enemies!

Glad you had fun with old guy... Now try mustache fighter fellow. Totally different build and playstyle. I mostly tried to go with attack speed, life steal and armor. You run into the enemies (until around 11, and you have to dodge a little) Crit building isn't bad either if you get enough life steal and armor to tank. The ONLY meta progression I want on a game like this is stuff that gives you a little more control over your build. It does suck when you just never get the weapon or stat you start building toward.

So far all your builds are very glass cannony I've noticed. So my build challenge to you is to become unkillable! Choose whatever character or weapons you need to keep the build functional but for stats and items focus on all the stats to keep you alive. Max HP, armor and some form of sustain.

the dream weapon build here is to get either 6 taser or 6 electric knife for max weapon combination bonus. I think not buying items first and keep rolling for weapons you want is important in the early stages. anyway, masocist is easy to build. straight up hp, armor, and regens all the time and get hit to increase attack.

range works well with knockback in piercing, attack speed works well with smgs and burn. I found interesting so far. An all shotgun range build is nasty.

i had to come back to comment that i JUST had a winning run with my ol' reliable ranger and 4 shotguns and 2 pistols, i underestimated how powerful the shotgun becomes when lvled because blue gets 1 pierce and a purp gets 4(!), purp pistol also gets 1 pierce (and insane dmg numbers) which is insanely mandatory for the crowd control. this game lacks a certain consistency (duh, it's rogue, i know) for stronk builds but upgrading weapons asap and ignoring set bonuses seems like the most consistent thing to go for. and yes, 12 is the last wave and it got buttclench-y at the end. i also have to revoke my former comment on the luck stat, i was at like 15 luck and got 6 crates over 2 rounds while as the dumb i had runs where i didnt see crates at all and died somewhere around round 6

Lightning Shiv and Taser is a murder combo. Easy win to level 12. I took range upgrades too but consider they are always in your face so no range needed in my mind.
