Interesting retrofit. I'm reminded of an elementary school in my city that replaced their Simplex 4051+4040-60 horn/lights in 2016 with Wheelock AH-24WP-R horns on RSSPs! (I even salvaged some of the old Simplex alarms in the process!)

My Walmart Had These along with the Horizontal versions. After the 2014 Remodel, they have Spectralert Advance Ceiling Mounts. Recently, there replaced a Couple of the ceiling Mount Advances with L Series Ceiling Mounts.

Odd how the security panel was tripped by the fire panel. Normally that’s not allowed in commercial fire, but could be used as the dialer. Strange pulsed NAC coding too. I spy some old flush mount horns too!

Lowe's Home Improvement at Kingston, NY (My Hometown) has 1st Generation Wheelock AS's as well but half of them are on the wall but a lot of them are on the ceiling and they're all wall mounts because I can see the word "FIRE" Sideways which is a Fire Alarm Fail at Lowe's Home Improvement at Kingston, NY (My Hometown).

My high school has the first Gen Wheelock as horn strobes instead of the sideways ones and we also have a voice evac in the cafeteria but the whole system is Wheelock as in the halls woodshop and men and women locker rooms.

Interesting system, I just wish they would do something about that coding. These act like NS's in that they only come on 1 second after they're powered so they really only work on continuous. Slow march time is okay, but the pulse is pretty short and the strobes aren't continuously powered
