Really good video. The drone shots along with your other videos while you were there showed just how beautiful American Samoa is. And the people you met were amazing. The smiles when you are sailing says a lot though. Keep having fun and stay safe.

Ooooooops. Missed this one somehow and watched the newest one before. 🙂↕️ Both are easy going great sailing episodes. Again, Roxy is looking great. Pro Tip: water alone is not the best hydrator. Put some salt (pink or Celtic is best) as you are also loosing electrolytes and they need to be replaced as well as fluid. ☺️🥰 See you next time. ✨🌊💨⛵️⚓️🏝️👙🌞✨ 🎄

Hey guys, did you get to visit minerva reef? Maybe i missed that one. Roxy would have been one of a very few dogs to step ashore.

I saw you pick up a big bag of dog food. Is it harder to find dog food in the Pacific? Seen any cat food? Asking for a friend...
@SailingSweetRucaАй бұрын
Haha definitely cat food everywhere! But options are much fewer than in the states, obviously. Hope the Bed is doing great! 😉😻

How does it work with a dog, what are the requirements for a trip like this?
@mattdouglas5570Ай бұрын
Did you consider New Zealand I'm sure you thought about it
@SailingSweetRucaАй бұрын
We did, but it’s quite an expense with a dog unfortunately.

@@SailingSweetRuca Are you coming to Australia, they have strict quarantine regulations similar to NZ!
@SailingSweetRucaАй бұрын
We choose not so subject our 14 yo dog to that. It would not be in her best interest so while we have Roxy, we probably won't come to Australia. I've also read most beaches and parks to come ashore aren't pet friendly so it's not ideal even if you do get checked in?

I always hated Customs and Passports. Dogs should have License no humans. Hey it is just money eh? Jim in Chile

Part of the reason we are sailing straight to the Marshalls... fewer countries, fewer customs...

Roasting food in a tefal pan is crazy as it overheats and becomes very toxic. Many years ago I threw away all my tefal pans because it is an artificial and toxic product. Better to toast over low heat in a special iron skillet like a French de Buyer.

Why if you are sailing around the world would you miss a whole continent like Australia. Doesn't make sense
