Setting Steering Offset Correctly in iRacing

What motec that you use either is it the the regular or pro I been struggle since since I watch this morning

I use the pro 64 bit version.. link here moteconline.motec.com.au/ResourceDownload/DownloadPayload?ResourceTypeName=Software&ResourceName=i2p.x64Release&Version=01.01.05.0192 youll also need to find a download a workbook or simply make one from within motec there are a few youtub channels that offer motec workbooks for free.. aera 51 alien factory has one so does buster's corner here on you tube.

@@Chaddz3 thanks and what can I find with the steering wheel and the track in one to look for steering offset?

@@tylerdaniels8974 the steering wheel is going to show you your what your steering wheel angle is as you drag your cars position (little red dot) to the staightest part of the track on the track position map. if you have your steering offset set to 0 on your car when driving the lap. the steering angle shown will equal what your offset should be set to in your car to get the steering wheel to be centered while driving down the straight away. with zero offset. when your going down the straight you may have to have the wheel turned more or less to one direction to keep going straight. the steering wheel angle will show you how far the wheel has to turned and in which direction (this is your offset amount. if you put that number whatever it is as your offset in the garage.. when you go back out on the track and get to that section of the track your wheel should be dead center.
