In part 7 of #BehindTheTrack series, we meet Damian Matthews - Chairman of the Irish Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association. Damian Matthews speaks out against the negative campaign against the sport of greyhound racing.

Damian Matthews and the IGOBF are working tirelessly on behalf of every greyhound owner and breeder in Ireland to advance the welfare and integrity and to promote and defend the wonderful sport of greyhound racing.

Greyhounds do make fantastic pets. I had an ex racer for 6 yrs until she passed. Don't need big walks, these dogs are sprinters. No shedding, easy groomed and brilliant with kids. Worst thing that could happen is they nick your sofa to sleep on which they do lot, sleep that is. Throughly recommend one as a pet.

Our Miss Perky Eyes was the lowest grade awww! But I run her in a field and tries her best to run fast and I tell her they made a mistake and she seems very happy with this 😁 good pets - and watch every move you make in the kitchen just in case any food is drop and help you clean up!!!!
