No need to use Emudeck. Just install the emulator standalone. You will have fewer issues in the future.

Such as??? Never had issues besides some games just not running proper because the steam deck isn't as powerful as I'd want it to be.

Why bother with the hassle? It's not just me complaing about it, a quick Google search will show you how many people have issues after Emudeck updates.

@@adds-kz3oc That's why you use RetroDeck (uses a Flatpak install) and only update manually after you're sure no issues.

Hello. Does it read ISO file? I copied the ISO file to the PS3 file of Emudeck. But it does not recognize it.

For RPCS3 games do not have to be pkg, they can be in PS3 Folder Format then you dont even need the rap file nor do you have to install them in the emulator, just copy the game folder to the correct ps3 folder that emudeck made and thats it.

when i just put it in ps3 folder on my sd card, the games dont show up. gamecube,xbox360 and ps2 show up immediately but I still cant get my ps3 games to show on emudeck when parsing.

@WickedlNl Then your folders are not formatted correctly, They should be in a folder with the game name and in that folder you have a folder called PS3_GAME and an .SFB File.

@@WickedlNl No those have to be installed like the tutorial explained... This is why I was pointing out if the games are in a PS3 Folder Format there is no need to install them and no rap file required. You can find the games in both versions online.

Steam rom manager>parse. It scans your rom folders for games and uploads them automatically to deck mode

no you can't. you can't play high end aaa games at acceptable framerate. gow3, ascension, infamous 1 2 cannot be enjoyed. you can play demon souls, ashura's wrath etc.

@@UmarRCz yes legion go can handle nearly all AAA games of PS3. The games I mentioned that are unplayable on the steam deck, would be playable on the go.

You can either dump ps3 roms with a ps3 disc, a disc drive and a program, or use nopaystation

no, but you can convert them with a tool called "PS3Dec Simple GUI". I would just follow this tutorial it looks easier.
