That is so kind of you to set up such a fantastic greenhouse and garden area for your sister-in-law. I am really looking forward to seeing the end result. We moved last summer to our "retirement" home which sits on 1.6 acres. We have spend a considerable amount of time and energy in clearing the property and creating raised garden beds for both vegetables and flowers. We have a very large range of birds and wildlife in our area of Ontario. If I was to win the $500 gift card, I would purchase wildlife shelters, a bird bath and some bird feeders to compliment what we already have on our property. It is so relaxing to sit out on the patio at the end of a long day and watch all of the birds.

As we watched this morning during our morning routine, my son said "that's where your tomato towers came from Mama!" I love the greenhouse! If we won the gift certificate we would buy more tall titan tomato towers, a few Essex round trellises to add some structure to our front landscaping and a few Jardin bird cage supports or something similar to help stabilize our hydrangeas and some obelisks for our vegetable garden to add beautiful structures, oh that would be so wonderful to win! I would fet grow lights. I got a greenhouse this year but it is not heated. Started seeds inside with heat mats. The seeds that sprouted got leggy and died from lack of light. Took all outside to start over.

So happy I found Laura a few years back - she has inspired me to become quite the gardener! I love this little greenhouse but, my husband, son and I are building a greenhouse and garden shed. If I won the $500 gift card, I'd get my husband the wheelchair accessible raised bed so he could get his own garden going. I'd use the rest for a few Essex plant supports for my peonies.

I’m excited to see the transformation of this blank space. Anything Laura comes up with, will be amazing! I’d probably get a Morgan Trellis for the entrance to my secret garden on the side of my home or another set of the 3-tiered plant stand Laura has in her Hartley. The stand is well built and easy to move around to adjust for optimum sun location throughout the year.

Ever since Laura introduced me to David Austin roses, I have been obsessed!! For the past 3 years, I have missed out at my local garden center because they have limited qty's and man, they go fast! UNTIL THIS YEAR!!! I was prepared and started calling them early, lol. I have 2 climbers, the Lady of Shallot 8' and James Galway 12'. I want the James Galway to climb on my front step handrails and arch romantically around my door. My mother in law is an avid/skilled Master Gardener. She has always wanted a greenhouse but has never been able to get one for herself. She has so many indoor plants and orchard that she has outside during the summer. If the $500 gift card to Gardener's Supply were mine, I would transform my next garden into a centerpiece with the octagonal green house complete with their grow lights, seed starting kits and growing medium, seating, those cool tongs, fertilizers, trellises for climbing roses on a west side, and most especially anything to ease my arthritic condition as I live and play there to my heart's delight. Marketing idea for those of us challenged with osteoarthritis: Add a bit of extra padding on the kneeler and wider "feet" on the ground to feel more stabilized.

Love how you are always helping people to enjoy gardening more than yesterday. I garden for my family. My parents are both older and work 7 days a week. They do not have the energy or time to start seeds and maintain a garden for the full season. I love starting seeds and teaching my eager mom for when she likes to help out.
