I’ve had people tell me after they’ve done a small home party that it’s a lot of work lol! When u r a person who loves doing parties other people don’t understand how focused u r. You r in your head a lot. You r in your zone. You have a vision and don’t want a lot to keep throwing you off. I get everything u r saying. I always get a contact person from the venue from my client and confirm that the place is booked by my client from this time to that time. Then I always confirm with the venue person the set up and clear out time allowed. What? That person got some nerve ordering items without your client's approval. That's news to me. 🤷🏾‍♀️ If they want to help, all they have to do is just buy the person a really nice baby shower gift. 🤔 .....(duh) That should be common sense. Another thing.... when clients buy their own decor, I rarely touch it. I focus on my own work that I was paid to do. However, if the client is really.... really.... really nice, I may assist with some things that has nothing to do with me, only after I complete my own work. I try to be consistent with my business because the client had the opportunity to hire me for that. But they chose to cut corners. But hey, decorating is fun. I haven't gone full time with it yet. Waiting for retirement from my job, then I figure my consistency should be on point. 😊 It's okay to ramble and vent to us because we definitely understand. 😄
