I understand that these words do not apply to the lesson, but I would like to ask for the future.... Emiel, your lessons and courses are very cool and there is a lot of useful information in them. But please think about the fact that you are not thinking about optimizing shaders in your courses... But it should be.... Because not everyone has 2080, 3080, etc. cards. I am sure that many of the guys are sitting on 1050 Ti, 1070, 1080 Ti. So please think about optimizing your future courses. Thank you for your attention) and good luck to you in all your affairs) Looking forward to the new course)

I agree with this, I do have a really good card, but I have problems with the UE5 Flip Fluid simulation. Even a few other things like foliage cause problems. And I intend my games to have a wide audience so the need to optimize is essential for the Eastern European, South American and other customers without high end cards. Take his advice Emiel please. And maybe come up with a course on technical art or level design. Thank you.

We are planning to have a tutorial about technical art. what I can do is have an optimization chapter to that. I will also place special focus on optimization in our next environment tutorial course since I am about to start it anyway. one thing I will not do however is ofcourse optimize things to the point the visuals start to hurt by it. in those cases I will explain what you could optimize to improve performance but it makes no sense for me to release a less visually impressive course unless it is focused on optimization

@@FastTrackTutorials keep doing what you doing mate! but one constructive criticism from me too, if you realise you made a mistake in the course, please add a text around where you did it and where did you realise. otherwise all tutors have to make the same mistake as you made. that is educational too but it becomes frustrating quick.

Mostly just a few area lights, white floor and then a height fog to blend the floor with the background

Hello, thank you for your great teaching. Before importing asset, what type of project should we create? Blank, First Person, or Third Person?

Depends on what you need. We always use blank and can always import the fps or third person after if needed
