If you feel like your Mask is not showing as much detail in UE as it showed in Substance Painter, you will want to uncheck "sRGB" in the texture settings of your mask within unreal. This will trigger an error in your material, to solve it and see the detail difference, you need to change the setting from "color" to "linear color" in your texture sample node within your material.

I thought the same that’s strange xD and even in both channel we can see an industrial fan from the same manufacturer textured in substance painter , wondering who’s inspired from the other but with this one it becomes very obvious !!

@@dozar911 wait but was it also the same model as we have? As that would be rather surprising since Sam who is teaching this video is the original creator of this model haha. It went a bit viral on artstation a while back. Or is it just about the painter workflow? Which i guess all painter workflows feel the same haha.

This course has been created in UE4 so the UI and lighting systems etc are different compared to UE5. However everything that has to do with modeling, texturing and material setup is still the same

megascans is coming out with more Moab Utah and monument valley meshes... I've just got the newest one for free.. real biomes is a cash grab there prices are outlandish now no one will buy there product... I'm going to make a huge Moab Utah map via procedural stuff and megascans newest additions ill have a rocky pine forest biome added as well for a high desert mountain range hahah it will look better than real biomes for free instead of 3k + usd for a commercial license to use there products... also i live in the southwest of america and ill be completely honest there foliage is trash compared to real world plants form the area 10/10 dont use real biomes

Do people ever make the modular pieces two sided? I’m working on something right now and I’m wondering if I should make the interior and exterior separately or as two-sided modular pieces.

sure you can make them 2 sided if that fits what you need. jut make sure they are atleast 25cm thick else you get light bleeding. personally i try 30cm to be sure
