I’m not even trying to use this for an everyday tv, I can’t set up my xbox to play on this tv, it’s not letting me past the run channel auto scan but I’m not trying to do that 😂

Try calling for customer support. I’ll do the same since my flash drive won’t show anything I have on it. And when I get an X Box or PS4, I’ll have to ask them how to hook it up and get it to work.

You shuld have a source button either on tv or on remote press it and it will bring up a list of HDMI 1 HDMI 2 ect hit component/av or try the hdmi channels taht shuld fix it

Recently purchased the Element 32” Class (720P) LED HDTV (ELEFW328) from Walmart, mainly because of the price point and my intended use of it. I cannot get beyond the auto-programming. I have ran auto-scan numerous times in all cable mode options STD, IRC and HRC to no avail. As I read through the comments I see that this is not a rare occurrence. Has anyone had any luck actually getting the t.v. to properly auto-scan and pick up channels?

I know my comment is super late but I fixed my element tv. (When it was stuck on channel scan) I had to plug my cable box into the hdmi port. Then hit source on the tv and hit enter on the remote. Very frustrating when I figured out the odd solution. You don't have to wait for the scan to finish. It's annoying because source won't work on the remote so I didn't think it was part of the solution.

My TV was delivered a week ago. tried to set it up last night in my bedroom but the remote doesn't work, at all. Three sets of brand new batteries tried. Was able to turn the TV on via the side of TV but I can't seem to set it up with out the remote. Any suggestions? I have an Xbox one coming today for this TV and I'd really like to be able to play.

TV hooked up with all HDMI cables but won't receive signal from cable box, called element service and swapped everything and cables to different plugs and it's only the cable box on HDMI however it works fine on AV cable but that renders the HD pointless. Cable box was checked out by cable company to be good as well. Cables all new and swapped around so it not them either. Ideas anyone before it goes back to the store for a trade.????

You have to plug in a tv antenna to get channels with an antenna it wont get any channels just saying try it youll see 😎👍

Richard Rutterbush you went into settings & completed a factory set? Should act like it’s right out the box once you do that. Looks like that’s the only place to set up OTA tv I’m not seeing a channel scan or anything unless it’s this set up wizard initially

Bought it new at Walmart. it was a cheap price. Now after I hooked it up to my cable it will only recognize 6 channels...what a piece of shit TV...Why does a new TV have to be so difficult to set up...All the flat-screen TVs I had before set right up no problems and they were cheap also but they at least worked. I would not recommend this TV to anyone even if it was free. I RATE ELEMENT TVs as a POS.
