I keep getting SourceControl: Error: svn: E170013: Unable to connect to a repository at URL and SourceControl: Error: svn: E175012: Connection timed out I entered the correct credentials and I am using 4.27 but at the beginning it shows connected successfully with my Routers IP instead of my URL I made in VisualSVN Thoughts on how to fix this? I thought it was a firewall issue but it is not cause I disabled it to test that theory and same results. I have no issues in Windows Explorer but once I try to login in Unreal issues arise. My team can access source control in Unreal just fine but I can not locally. My server is on a seperate pc in the house.

I love how I am only at 3 minutes in the video and nothing is the same. I can't even finish the install beacuse it says that features are not available in free version (license is not sufficient). I think I'm gonna keep duplicate my projects on my hard drive when I want to save. I came to the video because I already had svn installed but can't remember how to connect to my project and it is so unintuitive and complex that a tutorial is needed. Can't they do simple to use and ergonomic tools?

I keep getting an issue where whenever I try to conenct to the repo that's in the VM from my regular computer using tortoise, it just says No Host exists. Any idea what could be causing that?

This means that the name of the server is unknown on your DNS. Try addressing the server by IP address in the URL instead of domain (server) name.

IMO that's probably its best use case because of its simplicity, especially with newer developers. For larger teams, you'd be better off with git with code-heavy workflows or perforce with asset-heavy workflows.

I prefer Perforce Helix Core, and its free for teams up to 5 people.

@@IamNeighborlee Nope its actually free to run your own server, I just put it on a cheap local machine in my basement.
