Great idea. Just one question: what sort of tape did you use over the hole in the tank? The adhesive must be pretty strong to hold it in place when the syrup makes it wet.

It does not get wet because it’s on top. The tape is only there to keep ants out. The tape is used called mat tape. It’s used to hold wrestling mats together.

I’m trying to figure some kinda system for my indoor wintered bees, automatic like that and not cumbersome and messy. Typically we use hamster feeders, but 1500 pop bottle refills is a terrible job lol Thx for the content

Can you please do a video of the actual feeder? I just see the black plastic pipe on the back of the hives. But I would love to see the detail inside the hive of the feeder I definitely think that your feeder system is brilliant
