I just used your video to re-setup my Axis double pedal, thank you so much mate i finally have them setup evenly and feeling great. The game changer was keeping the spring on the slave pedal and adjusting the beater angle from the driveshaft, it was so frustrating trying to do this while the spring was on the main pedal.

Great video Robin. I play the longboard with cam A and the micro tuner and variable drive. I've got the sonic blast beaters but have been wanting the wrecking balls in hopes of extending my length of successful double strokes runs at medium tempos.

im you in 2007. just got a used pair of axis x. only just started getting used to them but im learning double strokes like you do. tbh youre one of the only drummers that inspired me to learn the technique and youre incredibly underrated. i wish more people knew. if youve any tips for the X version id be so appreciative. love all your work on IG as well. cheers from trinidad my dude

Building the triggers into the pedal is a genius idea, too! I am surprised, though, that they don't use a single trigger and have both hammers on the double (right) pedal.

its so you can easily split them into 2 singles pedals, and have them still trigger independent of each other!

Excellent video mate. I’m really enjoying your videos. Incredible to watch you playing for all those brutal bands. It’s annoying there wasn’t videos like this years ago. I’m still confused why my trigger hammer was coming so far back and hitting the beater arm. Interesting to know that I wasn’t the only one. I’m hoping that you inspire to get back on the kit again. unfortunately lockdown combined with other things and ADHD has made me give up for now. Thanks again ❤
