Setting up Bait Hives for Swarms

What an interesting concept. In Germany it is no allowed to set up unsettled hives, due to the possibility to spread American Foul Brood disease. But once I was painting new hives in my back yard, a wild swarm was settling in a super, which was standing in the sun for drying.

I was amazed to learn that the Beehive works on collective decisions making, decision are taken by the bees. When time comes bees prepare new queen, then the old and new queen fight and the one surviving continues.

Dear Mayu do you melt bees wax down? I haven't seen any videos on your channel about that. Some other bee keepers do that and I like those kind of video's too. So what happens to your bees wax after you compress it to a disk? Thanks I learned so much from you I didn't know japan had such special Bees. But I learned about the murder hornet when they invaded my state in 2022 I think. Keep up the good work.

I would like to get your opinion if what I did is right or wrong. I captured a bee colony, thinking they just swarmed. Turns out they got a hive with honey and larvaes. The hive broke ij two and I place the bigger lower part hive inside the pile box before letting the bees go up from the net. It took them a while. I then place the upper part of the hive filled with honey on the top of duckboard with no underliner such as a plate. I then placed the pile box on top of two more boxes and secured the structure. I saw bees going out one by one. After 5 hrs I saw I think half of the colony up in the branches again. Some ants are visiting the bee box I made. but it rained 5pm and I saw the bees up the tree safe under the leaves. There were no more ants as it was a heavy downpour. What are the mistakes I have made? So I can improve? I do not want to capture again the bees I think i have stressed them so much. I should have set up a bait hive 😢.
